So funny I live near Drax and the green peace guys were complaining that there were no electric hook up boxes i their campsite lol, they contridicted the whole purpose of their event, FUCK UPS!
stupid bastards my dad works there and is extremely dirty worse then coal mines the only skin you can see is on his eyelids he's that covered in soot and grime and he works over time to earn just alittle more money for an already suffering family of the credit crunch and if this place closes down thousends of people shall loose there jobs have a little respect although they could make it more efficent
Climate change has become another classic example of the experts with new knowledge against the uneducated and disillusioned masses. The only problem is this time, the ignorance will cause an unprecedented change in the world as we know it. Our economy, in fact, our entire way of life depends on the regularity of the world's climate patterns. Throwing it out of whack may not outright kill us, but our children will surely ask how the hell we let this happen.
hmmm anyone else notice how much paper went to waste making the banners (thats trees cut down which absorb co2) also look at what they are wearing...Nylon...leaves a large carbon footprint in its making not to mention the plastics they had aswell!! hypocrits
The banners are made from re-used packing materials and my T-shirt's second hand, you moron. Everyone's a hypocrite, but you're an idiot as well. Well done.
Good for the protesters! Shame on the police! Shame on the coal polluters! Coal is killing the world. It kills with smog, it kills through global warming. Like the sign says "stop the madness." Wind power stationed in the sea could supply all the power the UK needs. We in North American need to see more activism like this!
