I was using sarcasm....ok no that's a blatant lie. The truth is I misunderstood the theme of fate, that being chance represented the coin toss and Carla Jean's refusal to take part in it allowed her to live. I based this partly on the chance-event of Moss finding the money to begin with...however I than realised characters like Chigurh don't generally accommodate theme use.

The whole part about the dreams has about how the world was passing the old man by, to be honest only about 1 out of 5 people really see that. Most people only see blood and a cow gun.
