This place has DEFINITELY got some issues that need to be addressed in the offseason. For starters, what the hell were they thinking making the outfield walls so high? Beyond ridiculous! Second, why are the outfield walls BLACK and orange, why are the seats hunter green and why does the field crew wear maroon uniforms?

from what i heard from a builder i know who helped out on both the new yankee stadium and citi field, he said that citi field is better!

HOW?! The new yankee stadium was remodeled after the old one. they basically spent over a billion dollars to put up a huge mirro across the street. a huge waste. You can make an arguement about how many dumb shops there are, and how many obstructed seat views there are in the new YS, but a new stadium isn't supposed to be that similar to the old one. Yankee stadium doesnt ough this place

see, the thing is youre not a yankee fan...you dont understand how we dont want to just break away from tradition after 100 years. yes, we needed a new stadium, the hallwayys were tiny, the bathrooms were few, and the technology was poor....BUT, that doesnt mean we should put a new and unfamiliar field....we wanted to keep up the feel, look, and aura of our old place, even before renovation! it looks fantastic, and i cant wait to be there opening day!! .. citifields nice too, dont get upset. =)

i see your point but i don't see how that is worth over 1 billion dollars. i say move on, take in the meaning of a NEW stadium. change it up, because like i said, its not too exciting to go to a new stadium that isn't really changed.

well, i know what youre saying. it is alot of money to spend. but you know how the steinbrenners are. they have to have the biggest and best. gotta love them lol..its kinda like if they tore down fenway and built a new one..you know thered still be a "new" green monster. its just tradition. its what the fans want to see. either way, i cant wait to go to BOTH of ournew places. hope to see u there!
