I'm not gonna lie. I'm impressed with what Mark Henry has become prior to winning the title. It's been too damn long since we've had a monster heel in the WWE and Mark is doing that role very good.
But the last part about him going over Cena? THAT would cement him, yes, though let's be honest. Do you honestly think that the WWE has the balls to have Cena lose cleanly?
@lightning116 No. They wouldn't even pull the trigger on Orton, and that man can't even get suspended for his poor attitude, let alone fired for his actions.
Speaking of WCW 2000, I downloaded an episode of Nitro from 2000 not knowing the content of the episode, and it just so happened to be the one with the triple steel cage match (aka War Games 2000). Good lord, that a long with the rest of the show was just embarrassing. The cage match was probably the biggest clusterfuck I've ever seen.
But then again, I haven't seen every episode of Nitro in 2000.
Seriously, you're on the money when it comes to how all the intrigue has shifted from Punk to Mark Henry of all people. And in all honesty, I thoroughly enjoyed the actual match that Orton and Henry had. It did an unreal job of showing what Henry should be.
For me with Danielson, as much as I'd love to have him go giant-killer on Henry, I think he's character could thoroughly evolve if he LOST at Mania. Basically, a reason to break out THE American Dragon.
@DoubleCrossKing Trust me, I'm not sold on just putting over Danielson - in fact, him losing is just as strong a finish for him as him being a giant killer because, if booked right, he can walk away looking strong just from surviving the match in a way that previous opponents of Henry couldn't have survived.
I actually did a 45 minute "rant" about this, detailing the options with Sheamus and Danielson, both of which could put them over and keep Henry strong. Sorry, but that won't be uploaded.
I wanna see the list. Is it just Scott Riggs listed eighteen times?

@moralvirus
Precisely. They've gone way overboard with Cena and Orton being unstoppable.
I'll even bet that Hulk Hogan is probably saying: "damn. And these people bitch about me? Those two make me look like a saint." XD

I would do it your 2nd choice. Which is similar to an idea that Gable and Paul had.

@edgelitafans1 Oddly enough, that was one my brother found streaming live on some site...and it was the one that I wanted to forget ever existed...
Nothing that happened that night made a lick of fucking sense, even today.
