Hey for $11 you can get a box from amazon that has Sands of Time, Warrior Within, and Two Thrones. Pretty cool deal. Should run well on even a simple computer since they're last generation games. The two newer ones are a different story.

The first one was timed and you had to save the princess who incidentally did not have a name either. PoP2 was called The Shadow and the Flame. Same type of game but no time limit. Both started out as old DOS games for PC. I was playing the first one back in 1991.
It was re-released later as "Sands of Time" to coincide with the release of the PS2/Xbox game. But either way, that one first came out for the Apple II in 1989 and later was made for DOS. The Forgotten Sands was amazing if not a little on the "easy to beat" side.

Ha ha ha... Dude, this is what they meant when they said "You`ll need to let go of the Old prince to move on" and i was one of the guys who said that the game looked lame when i first saw it. The fact that the cel-shaded animation not only adds charm to the game but even the combat system takes it to a new level. Sure it is a bit confusing at times, but they completely removed the reloading of the missions to provide a free-flowing gameplay. Play the game dude, i`m pretty sure you haven`t !!!

well the scene maybe, but i looked around and it seems sand of time and warrior within where normal 4:3 yet the third one was 16:9. im not sure if it that 16:9 on the gamecube but it was on the Wii.
OMG i just watched the ending movie to the two thrones and i just realised that it links to the start of this movie! Thats well clever. I guess thats why they finished with the whole snads of time idea for the newest game which quite amazing but i do miss the reverse time feature. Spose if i want to do that again i cud just replay the series!
I never played this game, but i have tried to buy it but the shops never have them. I think many people like me that want to play dont have the opurtonity cause of the stupid games shops that want to sell only the recent games.

hey everbdy i got this game and am like 40-50% through it. The game was great in the first level but after that no great new elements took place. The game is gettin repetitious. In my opions Legend,TR, pwn's this game. i dont get it gamefaqs and gamespot highly praised this game but i dont see any fun in it are the other ones more ellaborate? im not trying to offend anyone,but plz give me some good pionts about this game i just dont see it. p s i know legend is a few year after.
You may b right liking TR:L a bit more but think of this first:SoT was made 4 years ago whereas TR:L was made a year ago.Frm my point of view TR:L tried to copy PoP,although they did a great job doing it(I really liked TR:L)the story of the SoT saga "pwn's".Which for me is the best thing of that game.The way it tells you a great tale(play the 3 games and youll get me)also in order for PoP:SoT not to b so repetitive try to finish it in 3 hours(I did it on my 3rd run,when i found i could)
its kinda old now and the grafics are not the best (im still going to play it thoe) nad normaly when i play an old game i am looking for nice mods to make it more interesting.

Don't waste your time with this game.
Worst designed game ever.
It's controls are totally messed up because the camera angles continually interfere with the control of your character.
The difficulty level due to this makes it almost impossible.
The people that designed this focused on graphics and story... not functionality.
A total disappointment and a complete waste of time.
Don't play it.

I find the story quite wonderful despite, or maybe even because of, its simplicity.
It is the classic fight good vs. evil, the good winning in the end; the prince and the princess meet and fall in love and so on.
It was like a fairytale, and at least in terms of the story, it is my favourite game of the trilogy.
