@SoShanss1998 No it didn't. See I used a red dye to lighten my naturally dark brown hair before and this was removing it. I know that Color Oops claims to get your natural hair back if it has been dyed DARKER not lighter. When you dye Lighter you're changing the hair permanently.
@TheFaro2011 Actually the color came out really bright orange so I used another haircolor remover called Color Oops, I wish I had used this remover first because it did not damage my hair at all! Effasol did damage my hair. My hair actually got to a golden blonde stage after that and I dyed it with Revlon's Colorsilk in light golden brown.
@greengurlg7 phew! i did the UK version of Colour oops then, Its called scott cornwall colour b4. No ammonia or peroxide. To be honest its the second time I have used it in a month! I cant make my mind up! My hair is now a reddy orange, oddly enough I think it suits me, though I hate it! I decided not to use effasol (here its called effasor) because of the peroxide. the thing with colour b4, when i used the buffer....made my hair an awful texture, so i have been using deep conditioners atm.
i think there is a bit of damage but less than effasor! But yeah you cannot go back to original colour, you go back to a state without the pigment, but the lifted colour. its a misconception to think you will go back to original. thanks for response :)
@TheFaro2011 Yes if you have lightened your hair then you definitely cannot go back to the original color but if you've darkened it, Color Oops states that it can take you back to your original color, I only lighten my hair so I can't vouch for their claims. That's so interesting that Effasol is called Effasor!
@TheFaro2011 I actually used another hair color remover called Color Oops, and my hair was a golden blonde. I then colored it with revlon colorsilk in light ash brown. I have a new channel where I'll be posting more videos about hair care and styling. Its called The Starving Bohemian
@SoShanss1998 no my natural hair is a dark brown, but I had lightened it with the red dye. So after the 50 minutes my hair was a light orange.
