@Afireinside912 All of the songs in which he sounds like a 'pop princess' aren't actually HIS songs. Most of the songs in his first album were written by other artists, mostly pop or pop-esque ones. The songs he writes are actually not that 'pop'. Maybe glam rock, but not 'pop'. Consider this: 'pop' is short for 'popular'. Mainstream. Does he sound mainstream to you?

America would rather have a Scotty McCreedy or Kris Allen, who are choir boys from the south who couldn't be dangerous if they set their hair on fire. The voting on American Idol is always skewed by the public's hunger for Victorian Age conservative/religious fantacies. They can't handle the truth about real human beings with REAL talent!

I love how all the songs he does are 70s classic rock, nice to see someone of my generation have such respect for REAL music my generation happens to fuckin lack so apperantly...and hes fuckin adoribly cute!!! ahhh why are all the cute adorible ones gay...<3
The only reason this guy didn't win is cause all of America is still not okay with gays. Otherwise there is NO NO NO reason Adam shouldn't have won...no comaprison with his voice n Kris Allens..no offense but it's so obvious who was better.
In my opinion I think he performs Queen songs better than anything else, Steven Tyler's voice is special for that song.

It shouldn't matter if you write the song or not. He could have easily said "I want a rock record" but he pansy'd out and did a pop music record.
What did u expect to say other than pop, hiphop? It's electronic beats.
