Real emo 1980-1994, secondwave emo 1994-2000 thirdwave emo 2000-present! ETF ain't scene the term scene hasn't even existed for that long, just because the music changed doesn't mean that it's scene, a genre always changes, punk from the 80s are nothing like modern punk and modern metal is nothing like metal from the 80s it changes LIVE WITH IT!

woah, chill everyone. everyone with a bit of mind knows that crust punk and screamo developed hand in hand, and influenced each other in the creation of those (brilliant) genres. You can definitely hear some harsh crust influences on bands like page ninetynine, and the other way around too.
