very nice. i do my best at detailing my own car but because its not a brand new garaged italian supermodel it takes a lot more effort to make it clean. And i get OCD about every little nick and cranny that has dirt. ...and i dont trust myself taking sandpaper to my paint, even though i would die for the result it makes.

Why is Paul using a sponge, my technique is to use genuine sheepskin mitt :)

@Dahl4life many people find a mitt can hold a lot of hidden "contaminants" that can scratch your cars paint, while trying to clean. Almost every detailer falls inot a preference. I only used mitts before, then after watching Paul's video's gave sponges a shot and they are not bad. Both have there advantages. But your right, hard to beat a sheepskin mitt! But you have to admit he must have a reason for his madness? he is a detailing genius, and an even bigger marketing genius.

@semblexx I kind of agree with you, but I'm sure Paul has had his fair share of bog standard cars at some point. When you get to the stage he is at now, you rarely come across a dirty, dirty cars as the clientele he deals with take much pride in their investment.
