Vangie Gunn is the woman who sings this part. The song was composed by Derek Duke and Russell Brower. It can be found on the Burning Crusade soundtrack, and there is a book in game called "Lament of the Highborne", which allows you to read the lyrics in game whenever you like.

I think elves are cool because of their past. Why do so many people hate them?

Which elves? Horde hates Night Elves because usually +50% of all allys on most servers are female night elves (and at least 50% of those are hunters) so it gets old. Plus the whole free stealthing ability? Pisses me off every time. Nothing like getting ganked by something that shouldn't be able to stealth.

Blood elves? Dunno. I hate the BE females coz they're so... bleh. Male BEs though? I'd do them. ^.^

She's singing 'Sin'Dorei' that means Blood Elf in Thallasian.

Back in the days, Sylvanas was the Ranger General and probably an idol among the high elves, that song was probably very often sang among the elves it's very touching how she still remembers every word of it~~
