After a sentry shoots a missile or whatnot and your in the way your gonna get hit even if FF is off. That's why you don't see Engies fixing there sentry from the front.

That's not true. Engies get hurt by their own sentry, both bullets and rockets. Other friendly players take absolutely no damage, even other friendly engies.

This is just a bug. The sentry fired rockets, the sentry got destroyed, and the rockets became dangerous for everybody.

It's like the soldier spec-exploit.

Yeah explosions know no alliance. Hard luck there, but think of it this way at least you weren't the engineer that died by his own turret.
