Also ich hatte auch einen Golf VR6, ist nicht soo das gelbe vom Ei. Netter Sound aber 174 PS sind bissl wenig Leistung für nen 2.8er. Danach hatte ich nen EE8 ( CRX VTEC ), der macht sogar eure tollen Popelz nass :-)) Leider hat der VR6 auch viel zu viel gesoffen. Im Moment fahre ich einen Alfa 145 1.8TS ( 140 PS ), und ich behaupte der Alfa geht genauso wie ein Serien VR6, müsste ich mal testen...Hehe. Dennoch Honda rulez!!! Opel hatte 1 coolen Wagen, meiner Meinung nach: Calibra 16V Turbo:)

I didn't say you haven't built a bi-turbo VR6. My point was that of course a twin turbo mk3 will kill a 325 BMW. I've heard of Porsche 911 Turbo conversions in VW Beetles and they would also kill a 325. The guy was talking about standard like for like. You can't compare standard cars to highly moddified ones and then say the moddified one is better!

@lilotetov Kerl der Motor im VR6 mit seinen 2.8L ist lang nicht an seine grenzen gesetzt und der VR6 hat keine 4 Ventil pro Zylinder wie deine Calibra mit 4 Ventilen und 4 Zylinder, alles nur die Frage auf was der Motor Ausgelegt ist, auf Leistung oder auf Ausdauer oder etwas dazwischen? Mich Fasziniert sowieso der Motor eines Honda Integra (DC2), der aus 1.8L 190PS rauskitzelt und von 0 - 100km/h in 6,7sec beschleunigt und auf was ist der Motor ausgelegt? auf Leistung! ein VR6 auf Lebensdauer!

and i think your just another ricer-kiddie! the good thing about engines without sooo much hp/liter is, that they are pretty reliable and they have enough torque @ low revs, which is the best to drive on public roads... anyway, if you want to increase the power, you have to spend waaay less money to reach about 400hp than to such a ricer-engine, and it still sounds like nothing else and has much better engine-characteristics...

My friend's 1.8T(Stock) raced against quite a few honda's and only a few good tuned one were better, and a vr6 is better than a 1.8T. And VW being the shittiest car? also according to the clock its doing 160km thats 100mph in one of the gears while on the verge of hitting redline and only the vr6 can do 100mph in 3rd gear.
