teams tha tpick in the top `10 often say there, why because they make impussive picks that they think will fix the whole team, they don't happen, if you are bad, you must take the best gy on the board, that is how you build. sure taking a dt will not sell tickets or change the 2011 outlook, but it is the best way to rebuild the team, build a foundation and move foward. taking a big name offencive weapon might be flashy, but that doesn't win games, no line means no win, regardless of who is qb
@AlexBoardman18 agreed man, i'm not an unreasable guy, i back my argument with facts, i like the player, a lot, i jut don't think he goes number one, i would feel the same if it was andrew luck, it just doesn't work out, i think minnesota will draft newton for a number of reasons, that's my bet
Eli Manning f his last name were "Smith," he would be a backup. He won a Super Bowl with a great defense and one lucky deep throw. 2003: Carson Palmer One of the most overrated quarterbacks of the last 10 years. 2002: David Carr Failure, couldn't be protected and look what happened, bottom line, draft newton number 1, this team will be bad for another 5 years at least, history says don't do it, it will only come back to bite you, just take a same pick, like dt, it will work out so much better
when teams take a qb number 1 overall, it has been mostly horrible for thier teams, let's look at at history. and see the shame 2010: Sam Bradford Bradford played well as a rookie and looks like a franchise quarterback. 2009: Matthew Stafford Injured first two seasons and has not produced. Future is questionable. 2007: JaMarcus Russell Perhaps the biggest draft bust of all-time. at qb anyway 2005: Alex Smith Perhaps the second biggest draft bust of all-time. 2004:
@AlexBoardman18 in college..that would be a mistake if they take him. if they absolutely need to draft a qb then i think they should go with gabbert. but they should take dareus.
@AlexBoardman18 wow, do you feel special man, 4 qbs in 12 picks, teams are just being stupid right now, i blame the owners, he won't do well in carolina, i promise that
@TheWarshire yep , best draft iv ever seen and im a redskins fan so im happy with the picks we have aquired and i think the lockout contribitued to the qb fiasco
