man, i never got to get banjo tooie as a kid. i wanted it badly but i guess i was being spoiled since our family bought so many games on the n64. super smash bros, perfect dark, zelda majoras mask, and donkey kong 64 all in Christmas.
I just noticed, with almost all the footage with Banjo-Tooie, all of the speech faces are beta. Most noticeably, when king coal speaks, it shows Gobi! :)

what's worse if you use the song of time after you've gotten something, like say a mask, you lose it and have to find it ALL over again, and the only way to keep it is to beat a dungeon. so you have to go through alot of shit just to keep certain items in the game
Majora's Mask is my favorite one so far. I feel that it captures the Darkside of Legend of Zelda very well. Feels like your stepping into a virtual Nightmare other than just a fictional game. I still get a rich cool creepy vibe just playing the game. Soundtrack is vivid beautiful and majistic. If you like Ocarina of Time and are looking for a challenge, then Majora's Mask is the game for you. I've beaten the game, but I don't grow to tired of it because of the Masks and reseting of days.
Majora's Mask was creepy in general, there is no "most creepy" part in my opinion because it was just one hell of freaky game to just say 1 part. It was still very good at it's time and I still play it.
BTW, why is Gobi's face popping up when Old King Coal is speaking? It's a beta, or is it not? I wish Rareware was back with Nintendo so that a Real B-K platforming game can be developed. Not any gimmicks or bull that've been supplying since they left.

ocarina of time was easy to complete, trying to get all the masks on this can be damn hard on this game and if you dont get all the masks your in for a tough but not impossible boss fight..plus this game lets you become other species whereas ocarina of time just lets you be big and little...so personally i found mojora's mask more entertaining
Hahahahaha! I saw the Majora's Mask logo a couple of weeks ago, and I was like "I've seen that before!" Majora's Mask, surprisingly, is one of the few N64 games I haven't played. I knew I never had it so I just came to the conclusion that I played it at a friend's house. Then...It came to me. We had a promo from Nintendo Power! We threw it out such a long time ago. This is it, though.
BT and MM were one of the best games on the N64, no doubt the games had everything and more
but its not like that anymore....

no if you get a mask or item, it carries over. collectible items like arrows, bombs, deku nuts, deku sticks etc., you will lose.
