  • I LOVE TI CHI.

  • hêh_äNYÓÑÉ_wáNnÁ_chÅt_wïth_mÈ_í_feêl_sØ_lönêlY_tÓÐàY▼

  • In order to learn the 24 correctly, you need to be thaught by a qualified teacher while a vid is only good as a reminder when you forgot the sequence of one or more moves. There is much wrong with the execution but I am sure, they will learn and get better. Taiji is beautiful, good for health, balance, fexibility, flow of energy, calmness, concentration, relaxation etc. Practise makes perfect,

  • Totally agree with uberduke;

Hopefully after graduation and some 4 years later, these young ppl have improved their taichi performance. Keep up your enthusiasm, kids. This kind of exercise lasts till you become grandparents. Don't forget it. Keep pushing forward.

  • Ill learn Tai Chi

    in a couple of decades.

  • Thank you for the vid I am learning tai chi at the local library this is the form that we are being taught. It is very helpful.

  • tai chi moves

  • hi guys if you want to see an eight year old teach some tai chi basics, type in Rachel's tai chi lesson! Thanks!

  • Uberduke@ I agree their timing is of , they r all going in different speeds , not synchronized. But let's support anyway!

Greetings to all who enjoy th benefits of this-

  • the guy in the stripey pants seems quite good for a novice.

  • This video shouldn't be taken as instructional; they're only novice students...... I've only started my journey in tai chi but I am familiar with the 24 form and this video is full of techniques which aren't done properly (from the very beginning - they drop their hands *completely* after raising and then lowering them!), but I commend the students anyway because they want to learn and they are trying and it's been a few years since the video came out so they're probably better by now :)

  • True this video was used as an evidence for our university about the activities we had in the club. This is no way to be used for instructional or commercial video.Should've put disclaimer rights few years back when uploading this ^v^

  • @ronnyrtg: Ever made Tai Chi Application?! This has nothing to do with Tai Chi what you are doing! Your moves aren't stable and looks pretty self-injuring! Please take this video from the internet! It shouldn't be a reference for beginners!

  • Muito legal gostei,é uma art com leveza ,dança e estilo de luta de uma formabem agregada.

  • uuuaaahhhhhh

  • A Kung Fu style shoe or flat soled slipper works best. I don't recommend a Nike type cross trainer, or any type of shoe that wants to be planted on the floor so you can pivot on it -- a'la basketball.

  • i'm taking this for the first time in school, i hope flip flops are allowed in tai chi >.>

  • Waterbending O.O

  • YEA!!

  • it is so beautiful when a group practices together. would like to see more, keep up the great work. :)

  • What school of tai chi is this? I'm not familiar with it

  • i dont know what school it is, but its exactly how we learn Tai Chi.

    I'm in Amsterdam (The Netherlands)

  • What movements are wrong? There are many styles; I find this a good view of where your balance should be, and one of the FEW actual 24-form demos you can see. Love the hejabs, too.

  • sorry to say that the movements are all wrong . this is wrong pattern ppl pratise nowaday.

  • Tai chi(chi) of nowadays is no longer what it used to be. It saddens me

  • how so?

  • Because the 24-forms taught around the world, popularly, are the ones that are simplified. I'm not saying that they're necessarily bad or anything, it just makes me sad, because no one keeps tradition anymore.

  • A good teacher can however easily reintroduce all the traditional elements into the modern forms.

Still i know what you mean.

  • Hmph.. i'd like to find a teacher not just any teacher either

  • I know me too. I wanna learn the original style(s)

  • this just looks so calming

  • i can do that

  • man i wish i could do that , im Muslim girl and i wish to learn how to fight like Tai Chi love it

  • keep looking for basic videos, and for text descriptions -- "wave hands like clouds", parting the wild horse's mane", and the names of other forms.

  • Is that like spreading the horses ass or something.

  • well its very fluid but boring as all hell

  • You should watch a master do it. If it's done properly, it can be mesmerizing in it's beauty.

  • im sorry.. but if i want to see some people in a bunch of poses.... i bet you can use your imagination what ill watch.... and it WILL be mesmerizing.

  • this is to tai chi what Kenny G is to jazz...

  • Terrible...

  • well how can i download this? you know im not really into internet but its just that i have to learn tai chi and i have to learn more about it..so please guys kindly teach me about this stuff...if you don't mind

  • dat waz gd but the man at the front on the left was goin too fast- but the other man at the front on the right was the best to me! im 14 yrs and im gonna start doin tai chi now

  • This is very easy to follow. Whee! Tai Chi is becoming more accessible with each passing day it seems.

  • excellent,teaches the moves very well,easy for a beginner to follow,(with practise)10/10

  • i am a beginner , at 59 years,, very excited to learn this art, for health and focus,,thank you

  • this has much of chen tai chi in it.Read the classics on tai chi and see other do the 24 yang.

  • to RONNYRTG:

    can u teach us?

  • Well I'm not qualified to teach but i can share all that i know and what i have learned

  • Sorry, don't mean it as a negative. But the stepping is wrong, first. It is heel first, body straight, and concentration ahead. The hands need to be hard, yet soft. Too much of a show.

  • I would have to fill 3 of these boxes to describe the mistakes in this form. The direction is the only thing that is right. They seem to be meditative though, and that is one of the stronger purposes of this exercise.

  • You are welcome to fill 3 more boxes to describe our mistakes. We are students who are learning from a student from the tai chi club so that's why there are a lot of mistakes.. >v<

  • In youtube, type in 24 taich, and watch the third one down, it is a woman. That is exactly how it should look. The flexibility is not going to be the same for those who start it really late in life obviously, but it is the right way.

  • Again, not to be negative on those who are interested in the benefits of taichi, so keep practicing, and learn from those who you can, and you will eventually run into someone who is a great teacher

  • Great video! I took classes for a while, i never learnt this much though!

  • Thanks!!Me too..i have practiced this form for a few weeks only..

  • I loved the video, I'm currently studying the art of Wushu, and this was indeed a very nice video.

  • Thanks! ^v^
