I love Taylor but only because of her songs and who she is as a person. nobody would've payed attention to her based on her voice. she has a very very average voice, which definitely shows here. Mallary is better, but Miranda tops them all

I know exactly how Taylor got a record deal. She sang at the Bluebird Cafe and Scott Borchetta approached her about signing her to his new record label. However, I think a lot of it had to do with her charisma and stage presence and the songs she sang. I doubt if her liked her solely because of her voice. And like I said, I really like Taylor. I am not a hater

Well, obviously. Hardly anyone likes an artist who has no charisma and has an attitude. So her graciousness only makes her better; it's only the topping to her talent. Many ppl love her because she's so nice, but trust me, it was her music that caught the fans' attention. And he had to like her b/c of her voice/songwriting, because that's all he knew about her when he (Scott) approached her.
