I disagree about the evo chamber. Early upgrades and spore crawlers are a good use for those extra minerals that Zerg inevitably has; they prevent observer detection and surprise DT assaults on workers, plus the early upgrades make up for the general inferiority of Zerg units early on.

Plus from Rekatan's games I see that he usually likes to get a really early +1 attack for his speedlings.

Do corruptors do 20 damage by themselves or do they merely make other enemies more vulnerable by making them take additional 20 damage when they are being attacked by your other units? @Arbinator117 Macro is your ability to produce units, and keep all of your production buildings busy. Generally, the player with the better macro will have the larger army. The other element of macro is your ability to expand at the appropriate times to keep your production of units flowing. A good macro player is able to keep increasing his or her production capability while having the resources to support it.

When i do Zerg, I pop out the Evo chambers wile my main building is upgrading to the lair. Is that too late? If I going Hydra/Ultra I usually get 2. Just Cracklings or just hydras, I can usually get away with one.

Also, using 30 Banelings to take down a Nexus is a complete WASTE!! You only need 15-17, the rest is complete overkill. And don't use the explode button, there's a separate button that tells banelings to attack buildings.

It would have been better to split them up, or just right click the nexus from the start, the banelings would funnel in and use only the amount required to take out the Nexus, then you'd have 13-15 more banelings to take out the ground troops, workers, or other buildings.

I don't think I've used the explode button in over 150 games. You can tell I didn't use it in this game because the remaining blings moved on to kill his zealots.

Right clicking the nexus from the start would have caused the banelings to travel directly in and detonate - very cost ineffective since it only would kill the nexus opposed to the wrap around which killed his probes and the nexus.

All you have to do as a ZERG player( or any race) that is attacking probes who aren't attacking back, is push A (for attack) and then SHIFT LEFT CLICK as many workers as possible. What this does is tells your units to keep attacking the workers in order until all the ones you've clicked are dead. They will ignore any other threat.

Otherwise, it's a complete pain in the ass, and your attacking units will stop attacking workers to attack any other threats in the area....

Dimaga uses an evo chamber right after spawning pool against protoss. A lot of high level zerg's get level 1 armour very early to counter zealot +1 weapons (2 hitting zerglings) so they aren't forced to swap into the immobile roach army. Just so u know!

That Baneling attack is really amazing! Killing 1 Nexus, 1 Cannon, 1 Pylon (1 Warpgate disabled), 8 or 9 Zeaots and a batch of Probes (only 3 escaped) at the cost of 30 Banelings, that really paid off.

Unfortunate for Retro, apparently he was not watching that expansion when the Banelings arrived.
