They fail to mention that everytime they bust a pot smoker, they give them the option of either going to jail, or going to treatment. So in a way, people are forced into treatment, and then they use those same people to pad their statistics.
Those people didn't need treatment, they just choose it over jail.

This of course accounts for the explosion in the number of those "seeking treatment" I was also given a harsh diagnosis. This is something I would have for the remainder of my life. Well maybe you should study the constitution and American history, because a lot of things were changed before you were born.When the first 10 amendments of the Bill of Rights was established, only "We The People", had the right to petition the government. Before the 16th amendment, ALL citizens were freeholders with full sovereign rights. The 16th amendment establishes a status quo, but it only offers citizens 2nd class or lower, and the peivileges(NOT RIGHTS) of that status level. (cont.)

First class citizens, on the other hand, still posses the full sovereign RIGHTS that were granted to freeholders. In a status quo society, your income determines your level of citizenship, only the wealthy are considered 1st class citizens, and since corporations are wealthy, they are recognized as "persons" by our government, and not the entities or groups that they truly are. Thats how corporations have the right to petition the government through corporate lobbiests.

If the 'police of Marijuana prohibition' would stop forcing people to associate with bad criminals in a cage (imprisonment) or on the street corner at night with their unfathomably unreasonable laws they impose; then half the drug war would be over. The most logical step is to free Marijuana from the unjustified lawful constraints imposed upon it back when lawmakers were inexperienced with drugs and their true effects.

Won't gain tax money because people grow it themselves: those dealers would be put out of business, nobody would go to a dealer when they could go to a local dispensary.

Even if getting high affected how I drove (which it doesn't), I wouldn't feel like driving anyway.
I just make sure I have munchies set up, a good movie ready, and a good music playlist ready and my day is set.

lets not talk about the constitutionality of drug laws, the fact that she's against drug legalization because it will not generate tax dollars since people can grow it on their own - which is the most ridiculous reason to be against anything.
By her argument we should make tomatoes illegal because people can grow those for free and not be taxed on them as well.

I have to give that ignorant woman credit for going on camera and spouting the "official" hard line about how harmful MJ is, and insisting that it is a gateway drug, despite the facts. I was suprised that she didn't try to claim that there is no medical benefit. My guess is she has never tried it, done any reaserch about it. But she was willing to show hwe ignorance to the world. Brave.
