I think you should read a bit. The suggestion is clearly not socialized medicine. We have major problems with healthcare in this country even with good insurance( of course most of them have high profits). Do you comprehend that we have universal government controlled insurance for everyone over 65. It also is not socialized medicine. You make choices. The problem is that it only has people in it that are at the point where they need services. Many times caused by the failure of private ins.
