I agree with those guys that the new Atom is frankly, ugly. I could've written a better script than that.

Then again, from the moment I saw that poster I though 'Ugh, I'm not watching that ever!' But I didn't want to seem too prejudice against it, (seeing as I'm Japanese and it was an American adaptation in CGI) so I watched it on the plane: I haven't changed my opinion in the slightest. It probably only turned for the worst. I watched the 2003 DVDs I had to cleanse my mind of that CGI image.

ughr. the new astroboy is ugly... The old astro was sooo much cooler and better looking.

the 2004 series Astro Boy isn't ugly. he looks better than the old series Astro Boy, to me, he sounded like a girl in the 1980's. not trying to be rude or anything, but his voice was a bit high pitched. but i think they could of designed Astro Boy better in the new movie that's coming out. he looks kinda ugly there.

Of course his voice is high pitched, it was a womens voice. They use a womens voice to get the small innocent boy effect. The new astro has an ugly bubly nose and his eyes are all wierd.

I think his nose is cute! and a lot of people would agree with me on that. and his eyes are really big so they sow the innocence of him. also, i didn't know a woman played his voice, thanks for telling me that, makes more sense now.
