i read a small book once like 30 pages, and it was about rome, or sicily or something in italy. the polish walked from poland threw the middle east to italy where they charged up this mountin in italy where the allies where fighting for so long the pulled troops out for d-day, the polish took it losing so many people

This song is so perfect for fighting a horde of enemies and taking the last stand. Its almost as if their is no longer any hope. But everyone knows that failure is not an option. So the battle wages untill allied forces come to lend a hand. Then the soldiers get their deserved rest.

The Poles kept their army alive throughout the war. They played important roles in many Allied campaigns including Operation Market Garden.

When I close my eyes while listening to this, I imagine a patrol of allied soldiers getting ambushed by Germans. After falling back in an abandonned and ruined house, the allies get surrounded and engage a desperate fight to the death, like at Camerone.

Then, when the few last allied soldiers are about to be overwhelmed, when they see their end close at hand, at 01:33, reinforcements are finally here.
