Compared to its fast, offensive rival in OU infernape, arcanine sports 2 abilities that are actually useful with intimidate and flash fire. It also has a bit more bulk, which when coupled with either ability and spin support, can come in rather handy to squeeze out a KO. word

It has decent coverage, and a good priority, but it sorely misses being a fast pokemon, and 110 attack, while good, is a little underwhelming for some of the OU walls. just my 2 cents.

Yeah, speed leaves a bit to be desired even with a +2 priority but, as far as wall-breaking goes, it rarely comes into play on the team I use it in. 110 may not hold a candle to darmanitan(which is UU), but it is still 6 points higher than Arcanine's cheif OU rival Infernape. Just like any other OU fire type, its use is highly specialized and requires team synergy.

Sturdy is just a little something nice that Skarmory gets. The main reason any GOOD player uses Dragonite is to abuse Multiscale. Would anyone be using any kind of bulky Dragonite set if it didn't get MultiScale, hell know, because it's defensive typing is mediocre. On the other hand, Skarmory would still be the best physical wall without sturdy
