@rcp6326 I would only be able to share with you the ones that are good for my hair, but I always recommend finding something that works for your hair. For my hair texture I find that creamy moisturizers (like leave-in conditioners) work the best.

I tried this style with modifications and LOVED IT!!! Thanks for the idea!! I tried it exactly how you did it but that gel nor combs held my hair. My hair is too thick for that so i put flat twists on the side instead. I loved the style nonetheless. Thanks again!

Sooo cute can't wait until my hair gets that length!! Question whats good for maximum hair growth i've been natural since 2009 and it seems like my hair just isn't growing??? HELP!! LOL

@kiekapeek85 You have to keep your hair protected. Protective styling helps to retain the length that your hair is growing. Also make sure that you have the proper moisture/protein balance in your regimen. Make sure that you are always sealing in your moisture with oil (particularly your ends)...I like to use castor oil. Hair continues to grow, but without the proper care, hair will break off as soon as it grows.

Loving this style, simple yet stylish! I did a style similar to this one in the early stages of being natural but I always do cornrows on the side that you have slicked! Since my hair has grown since that time I am looking forward to trying this style with the slick or cornrows! Oh God V, the same happened to me. I did a FANTASTIC twist out with a new gel and an old styler but there were the most disgusting flakes! Looked like I had a serious case of dandruff! Still wore it out though lol. Friends kept saying they saw nothing wrong but I figure they were only being polite lol
