@madcatlozada ok if you have a mac at least for this is what i do i plug guitar into amp (spider 4 75 watt) Then in back of the amp i plug a 12foot cord into amp then into an adapter (about 3 dollars for adapter) which brings a 1/4 guitar cord cable into a 1/8 cable so i can plug amp directly into computer. then i open garage band put on a clean setting and put on any setting i want for my amp and then record. hope i helped ill post a video if you want me to.

just to answer some questions here yes he is realy playing and it looks like that because he is awesome :P but if you havent played the guitar it usualy looks like the fingers go slower than the sound. and those squeeky high pitched sounds he gets from his guitar are called "pinch harmonics" where you use youre finger to touch the string right after you plukked it

What I'd like to know is how he gets from the top to the bottom of the board and vice-versa without making any noise. I know he could be lifting his hands, but I would think that when he releases his hands the strings would get hit slightly and make some sort of audible noise.
