Oh my GOD - I used to love these guys back in the early 1990's - and I just stumbled across them here....just made this a play list....love, love, love....still as relevant in 2012 as the early 1990's - just goes to show great music is great music and will stand the test of time! Damn!
I'd never heard of these guysuntil like 2 weeks ago. I can't believe I missed them the first time around. They are fantastic, and the volume of quality song they have, it's just mind boggling I hadn't heard of them before.
@rodrimrr It´s always an old Gibson with Thunder but I can´t remember the model. He may have changed now he plays a lot more acoustic with The Union. You´ll see it a lot on his web pages.
Im 14 years old, I love thunder and I saw them live. I love their songs. I don't know why people don't listen to them, they have pure talent and musical genius.
Absolutely agreed with you, the fucking criticians put them down, but as the scottish people says the history is written by the ones who hang the heroes.
This great song was the first single from the album "LAUGHING ON JUDGEMENT DAY",released in 1992. In this same year, here in Portugal, I saw them live as opening band for EXTREME, and their gig was fanntastic; They are amazing on stage!!!
@rugby0162 I remember seeing Terraplane/Thunder as support acts for Blue Oyster Cult - and I think Ted Nugent - in the early '80's at the Birmingham Odeon. At the time they got the reception that support acts could expect... ironically I've come to appreciate them more as I've gained wrinkles, and I saw them again in Manchester a few years ago supporting Deep Purple. They should be up there with the likes of Whitesnake and Def Leppard in terms of earnings and quality output.
@Adipsia1 lol like the wrinkles no were your coming from on that front seen them 5 times from the first time when i was 17 18 right up to about 2 years 3 years poss and they seem to be as good with age as i am lol
This where it started for me - was driving one night in 92 and this came on Radio 1. Who's this!! I said. Bought the album and then discovered Back street Symphony. The rest is history!

I seriously cant understand why this band was not bigger, they played true rock n' roll and played it with soul.

Saw these live twice when I was 16 and 17. A few years ago now (19 lol) but still hold my attention and give some great memories.
