the most ardent tibetan nationalist in exile is found in the tibetan refugee settlements that are almost ALL "commoners"
BTW tibet did have a middle class. btw dalai lama's family was not aristocratic.
in buddist tibet before the communist chinese invasion there was no famine. after the communist's came to free tibet, tibs starved to death, and saw their priests who they revered as saints tortured to death in public.
in tibet before communist invasion, the death penalty was abolished and people's lives rotated around religion.
after the communists desecrated our temples and not only did not understand our beliefs but spat on thm.
the barbarity was shocking for tib who are spiritual.
why don't you have a referendum in tibet that is patrolled by inedepedent election watchers from the UN to see whether tibs are happy under communist chinese rule?
ccp has not even acknowledged let alone apologized for their mistakes in tibet. once they do this we can move forward together.

why is it that most of the dance coming out of communist china makes women move and make facial expressions like cheap flirtatious dancing girls?
china has such history and culture, but why are the women always objectified.
the japanese geisha dances with dignity and poise. tibetan opera dancers have roots in buddhist spirituality.
chinese communist era dances have women wearing tight outfts making coy facial expressions and acting like all they are good for is concubinage...
