  • STUPIIIDDDDDD !!!!

  • stock GE8 can run maximum 170 kph or 106.25 mph ... its just your car busted or you just to scared to kick the gas

  • This in Canada?

  • I'm sorry but this is way too SLOW

  • Dude, was that your transmission light glowing ominously? :o

  • Your about as bad as one of those dumb shits who buys a civic dx, puts a fart can and a universal CAI on it and thinks its a sports car!

    Its an automatic!

    "Ripping" ???

Your ripping your reputation, as well as that of proper Honda tuners!

  • @tjmick1992 wtf?

  • crank the boost pussy!

  • a automatic fit on boost waste of money.

  • i thought this was fast......until i saw it was kmh not mph -,.-

  • unhooke the positive battery terminal and the check engine light will shut off, not difficult at all

  • its a manual/automatic. don't be mean.

  • check engine brah

  • Lol@boosting a fit. Get a civic with a decent engine 1.5 is horribllllly small, I think my lawnmower has one of those

  • Honda Fit?

    lolol

  • pretty cool! ^_^ 5 stars (:

  • are you taking your foot off when you change gears with paddles?

  • it's an automatic, keep it floored dude! You need to get it tuned properly to get that god damn engine light turned off!!!! Do you have any problems going into boost at any other throttle position other than Wide Open throttle?

  • Is this in Canada?

  • My friend, did you have to modify the transmission for support that turbo? i have a honda fit too. but is Automatic...

  • what you said below about the torque converter is correct though.

ALL Honda AUTOs (CVT) use torque converters with the exception of Honda's experimental i-Shift, which is, like said, a manual gearbox with a TCM that controls it electronically.

i-Shift is smart however if you drive one they are shit. Honda's way of saying, look.. it can be done.

I hope you dont feel i was getting assy! haha

im a mechanic at Honda, thats the only reason why i would want to know any of that. haha

    Cheers

  • @shredtheibanez well, you helped me learn something today ^_^

  • @shredtheibanez You would be right, if this car is an i-shift. The video doesn't say i-shift though.

If it's i-shift, then yes, it's an SMG box without a torque converter....and from what I can gather, a pretty unrefined one that WOULD require letting off the gas between shifts.

  • @burnout8488

i'll give you that and i would say you are correct in saying it doesn't say its an i-shift.

I-shift doesnt have the P and S indicators on the dials - if im correct.

  • LOL thats a KM/H gauge too! This is amazingly slow. My oldsmobile is faster

  • check engine light is on

  • its still slow and automatic and gay as fuck. you wasted money boosting it

  • I'm not sure if this is actually any faster than my totally stock 5 speed Fit :)

  • MIL

  • automatic fit = gay

  • To freddie19

When in sport you have two options

    1. You just put it in sport mode and it will shift for you just at higher rpms

    2. You can shift yourself by tapping the paddles down when in sport mode and if you don't shift it will NOT shift for you so it makes it a lot more fun

  • @MrTadman118

good job man, almost sounds like you know what you're talking about.....buuuut the "s" doesnt stand for sport

    its actually "sequential" mode

  • sounded like you hit vtec at :11 lol.

  • why are you letting off the gas between shifts? It's an automatic, you're not fooling anyone, this is making it slower.

  • @burnout8488

Technically it is a manual by the fact it has a manual gearbox however the system 'i-Shift' emulates the drive of a auto with the ability to still manually shift.

You HAVE to take your foot off everytime you shift to allow the system to change gear.

A smart system but totally floored.. lol

  • @shredtheibanez It still has a torque converter. Some honda automatics (maybe all?) are "robotized" manual gearboxes, however if it has a torque converter there is no reason to let off the gas. Honda would not design a Fit that requires letting off the gas - the majority of their market would be confused and ruin the transmission. I don't know of any production car that requires that, actually.

  • @burnout8488 The CVT's have an emulated '7 speed' naturally they do not have 7 gears but emulate that throughout the box.

the i-shift are a simple MANUAL gearbox with an electronically controlled manual clutch and selectors, the system controls the box allowing for auto, the box however still has manual control and manual gears (although it is selected via the system instead of shift rods).

when i said you have to take your foot off, if you have ever driven an i-shift you would understand.

  • @burnout8488 He's not. That's how it shifts. except between 3 and 4 where it appears he is going through some turns.

  • @joelinpdx then i'm glad i don't have paddles on mine, thats some fairly shitty shifting action. Or maybe it just looks bad because it's on camera and i'm not driving....

  • @burnout8488 did you see under the rev meter it says m3 it means your on manual...

  • @specialbrownbeef Doesn't matter if you're in manual mode there is no reason to not be at wide open throttle between shifts on an automatic car

  • @yodoe100 DBW fool.

  • @burnout8488 maybe he was using the shift paddles.

  • nice video!!! i wanted to know with the automatic honda fit does the computer shift for you when in sport mode or will it just hit limiter?kuz im thinking of buying 1 n boosting it but not if the computer is goin to shift for me

  • nice dude!

  • Sounds good felix

  • your ford escort is lame

  • 0.45 BAR that's lame...
