Nah, swimming glitch is not too useful in GoW 1. Try GoW 2 swimming glitch for that instead.

@PSN1993 nAH DUDE for that, do it on easy mode with Either cow or god armor costumes, and skip any fight that is not absolutley neccessary. I did it with the god armor, and i got it in 3hrs and 30 mins

I didn't capture it. It's basically infinite jumping over any of the walls and then touching the puddles of the area. I don't know of an easy way of activating swimming glitch here.

And I could not use the magic because Kratos was swimming, and the game was slow.

But it should be possible.

(I always suffer in the 2nd fight with ares in god mode because there is no magic)

In the 2nd part of the fight against Ares if you swim up the bars of life and magic will appear.

The glitch to swim out of water: when I attacked him, for some reason Kratos appeared below Ares, Kratos then swam up uncontrolled

You think it could be a collision flaw? I mean a "hole" in the floor. Do you remember which attack you did?

Did you go from The Cliffs of madness all the way through Hades while swimming? How did you move Pandora's box?

I didn't go. It isn't seen on the film, but I re-activated "swimmingness" at the water puddle of the local area.

How/Where exactly? I've got something I'd like to see that requires activation at that point for it to work.

I used one of the high balconies in the left-hand side of the area, climbing outside using an infinite jump with BoA. The walls are all so damned high at that room...

But you can pass the wall lower down through at least one spot: the righmost "platforming obstacle" high up the wall (which you pass by during the timed mini-section). I haven't done very deep research on other possibilities.

So the second is lower? I was trying to use minimal bar upgrades, regenerating magic and default Kraton on God Mode...Basically:

Ascension of Artemis to Artemis Lift *square, square, circle* to PR to AL to PR..repeat

If I thought it would help, I tried to extend to process using lvl5 Blades (lvl4 RotG) Infinite Magic to continue while regenerating for another bout.

~I'll give it another go later if it is possible to do the trick without DB

Can I enquire about what you're trying to do? Also, if you want to spare magic, make every other Poseidon's Rage a Gorgon Blast. If you time it right, you keep rising up but waste a lot less magic.

What-If we could swim in Hades..once the glitch is activated I'd need only head back down the hole to Hades and swim to the beginning and back..I really wanted to know what that would be like.

Alternations between the two will take time to get used to..but I guess all good things ask for this in return..

Try if the goo in/on some of the flesh pillars count as water if you do this.

I'll certainly do that when I finish testing these newest GoWII exploits listed at SDA. Though I'm sure you don't believe it has any more of a chance at working then I do..would be nice if we could use it while going through Hades though..very nice if done early on.
