  • cheerful medley~~

  • It knows what im scared of ? *sees balloon" AHH! IT! RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!

  • Still freaks me out. I hear this and I think of all those corpses decomposing under their house and their ghosts getting so pissed and not crossing over. Then old scratch sees an opportunity, kidnaps the girl to keep the ghosts under its control. The girl gets saved by her pot smoking parents and psychic dwarf. In indignation, the ghosts make their bodies pop up out the ground and fall to the ground like over-ripe casabas.

Not a cute cuddily song at all!

  • @firedroid2 okay then

  • RIP Carol Ann :(

  • Holy Shit !!

  • This song to me thinks about how Heather O'Rouke's life came to a tragic end, only one year or two years after the 3rd movie in 88'.

  • @Pugslee3 I guess she really did get stuck in the void between life and death!

  • Woaw, so creepy, yet so sad, and now nostalgic! Damn, i used to watch this with my sis and mom on a scary and creepy night!

  • Did you know that watching scary movies tells the demons that you are interested in them and so they may come to give you a visit? Well, that is if you believe in demons and such. I do. My mother and I can see spirits and such. Ever since my mother played with a wigie board, or watever it is called, we have been haunted. thumbsd up if you understand and have experienced.

  • @lissarosebelikov I know exactly how you feel by being haunted. There is one in my house... He creeps me out!!

  • @lissarosebelikov it's an ouija board not wigie. :P Yeah...I have experienced before. A lot of times but still I can't stay away from horror cuz if I do, it gives me dreams about horror and stuff. Stayed away from it twice but it kept coming back.

  • To think, back in the day this music was scary.

  • Its Pinkie Pie's theme song! XD

  • @322kittycat nah, too calm for her xDD

  • The theme is much better then the movie in my opinion, hehe

  • this is a horror movie for crying out loud why the hell is this crap music in this thumps up right!!

  • sad and well made movie

  • R.I.P Heather O' Rourk

  • @Brandon20120 I wonder if they played this song at her funeral!

  • @Pugslee3 Ithink so.

  • @Brandon20120 I think so.

  • @Brandon20120 She would have been about 13 or 14 years older than me if she were still here today!

  • is anybody else calmed by this?

  • Is that a MICROWAVE!? LOL

  • gay gay

  • whats this happy funny sweetie chocolate dreamland?

  • @aidanproductoins4 yes. that's why it's kids singing

  • i like it :)

  • If my tv went static an this music played, it would be a great commercial for the movie, and also enough to make me piss my pants !

  • It scares the FREAK out of my sister

  • the only bit i found scary in this film was the clown trying to kill the boy. i just hate clown. *shivers*

  • Schildkröte frisst Taube - Musik :D

  • there here

  • What is the plot of this movie, at all? I'm unsure if I should see it or not. I'm that kind of person that don't mind if the story gets spoiled, so please tell me.

  • @TheKillerblood0207

basically...the house is built on the site of an old underground sect that was led by a priest some hundred or so years earlier, his congregation died beneath the ground, and consequently - their souls became lost and trapped and controlled by the spirit of their preacher.

The preacher is attracted the innocence he finds within the little girl, also because she is especially gifted with psychic abilities, and so it's a battle between the preacher and the girl's family.

  • @DasGrausam Thank you for taking the time to write :)

    Sounds pretty good.

  • @TheKillerblood0207

no problem, I found you have to give it a chance to open up though, it takes a little while to get going - but it's a classic though :)

  • R.I.P Heather O’Rourke

  • i meant this is the song my sister sings every day thumbs up if yers does to mwuahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • this is the song my sister sings every single do thumbs up if yers does to mwuahahaahhaha

  • why is it that the music kids listen to, they put it in horror movies to make it sound creepy? maybe that's why kids are so creepy when it comes to ghosts.

  • Why is this so darn creepy, yet pretty. (hum.....hum, sways back and forth happily)

  • Is the actress who played Carolan really dead already?

  • @Pugslee3 yeah. she and many other cast/crew members from the original and sequels

  • @Pugslee3 its ghosts/demons that got them. they died literally not long after filming.

  • into the garage and the by the light shining through I saw a shadow walk past. It was absolutely inside and nobody was around. My friend is actually a little upset because he thinks it was her and he has never seen anything. When my grandmother passed I was still a kid and the part with the grandmother in the second movie especially the end made my sister and I sad. Now when I hear this music I don't immediately think of the movie sometimes, but my grandmother, and how she came to say goodbye.

  • Its... relaxing o.o

  • i hate if that waz true cuz it said it nos what scares u and i hate spiders i would die if they came near me!!

  • this dosent sound scary is it suppose to be?

  • anyone got the lyrics to this

  • nice ass

  • What is this, carebears go to heaven?

  • @SunnyandSky More like Carebears go to hell then come back to fuck your lifes up.

  • @badbook1 You mean like Carebears?

  • @badbook1 lol

  • @SunnyandSky I Lol'd :D

  • ....

  • I will say though this movie sacred the shit out of me when I was a kid, especially the part with the tree and that damn clown doll. Even that one scene in part 2 when it shows the shot of the house from far away and all the ghosts are coming towards it I always ran to get my older sister. Oddly enough the opening library scene from Ghostbusters scared me too, I was a kid! Then there's The Shining and The Exorcist, enough said. But I never had a problem with Freddy or Jason.

  • Right they called it "The Poltergeist Curse" The little girl Heather dies of some kind of strange condition. the older sister was murdered by her boyfriend. the brother commited suicide. Craig T. Nelsons and JoBeth Williams are alive but did they really have much of a career after these movies? Just like what happened to Linda Blair from Exorcist.

  • @TheDoctorwho747 Heather O'Rourke died at age 12 of septic shock which was caused by a congenital intestinal condition. She was initially misdiagnosed and given medication that made her face puff up (as seen in Poltergeist III). By the time they figured out what was wrong, it was too late. Dominique Dunne, who played Dana, was strangled by her boyfriend. Oliver Robins, who played the brother, is still alive and directing these days. Craig T. Nelson stars in the Parenthood TV series.

  • @Jeff98177 Shit she was 12?, I thought it was a couple of years after the third movie, that makes it so much more tragic. And I could have sworn hearing that the brother, Oliver I guess his name is killed himself but I guess I was misinformed on that one. Yes you are right about Craig T Nelson now is working again now, but it sure was a long time before his career picked up again. Still all the actors at the time said they felt something not right possibly supernatural when filiming

  • @TheDoctorwho747 She hadn't quite finished the third movie when she died; they had to use a stand-in to finish up. If you watch the third movie, you'll see at the end that the girl doesn't show her face. It's because it wasn't Heather. :-( I heard that about the movie too, possibly because the corpses were real. In the scene where JoBeth Williams falls in the pool and has corpses in there with her, they didn't tell her they were real until afterwards.

  • @Jeff98177 WHAT? the corpses were fucking real? Well that explains alot and now I don't think I will ever want to watch the movie again. WTF was Speilberg, he was the director right?,thinking and where the hell did they get the corpses? So they did move the gravestones and the bodies, they just hid the bodies somewhere. No wonder this movie was cursed, I am a huge believer in the supernatural having seen ghosts 3 times in my life at only 30 years old, some don't believe me but I stand by what

  • @TheDoctorwho747 So have I, in fact friends of mine have a ghost in their house who plays with the electronics. I've posted a couple of videos showing it. Remember this was 1982 and the budget wasn't that big; computers weren't used much in those days. The imploding house would be CGI today but back then they built a miniature house and pulled it apart using wires. I don't know where they got the corpses, maybe some medical school?

  • @Jeff98177 Yeah I was thinking that about the corpses, still disturbing. Have your friends ever tried doing an EVP? If it's messing with the electronics something tells me it would work. The first time I tried it on a 4 minute taping in the first minute I got several results including a clapping noise 3 times, three knocks, and a deep voice saying what I think is "I demand respect", at the end another 3 knocks and a female voice "You're not allowed" I am telling you it can work

  • @TheDoctorwho747 My friend's ghost has a knack for turning off video cameras and other recording devices. One night I had the video camera sitting on the table, recording away, as we waited for him to "appear". All of a sudden my fully-charged camera went into standby mode and then turned itself off. A second later, the radio came on by itself. Again, my camera was recording at the time and the battery was fully charged. It had never done that before nor has it done that since.

  • @Jeff98177 I have actually heard of things like that before, EVP works both visual and audio, and all I used was a small digital recorder recording radio white noise and the questions I asked. I have a feeling based on what you have said that if you and your friends tried that you might get results. It seems that with all the electronics being effected like that the ghost could be trying to communicate. But I have also really seen ghosts 3 times in my life. Im 30 now but when I was about 14 I

  • @Jeff98177 lived on a dark suburb street in New York and in the back was deep woods. One night I had my window open and I couldn't sleep and I heard a woman's voice singing, not in words more like a loud hum I got up to my window and saw at the end of the driveway a shape of white smoke and for a moment wanted to go outside, then I snapped out of it and ran to my parents and for years i would not sleep with my window open. Long back it was native american land, I believe it was a wendigo

  • @TheDoctorwho747 When I first heard that they had a ghost, of course I was skeptical - who wouldn't be? But when I got back there for a visit a few years ago, I'd barely gotten in the house when the radio - in an empty room - came on by itself. Pretty soon I was asking it questions and the volume would go up for yes, down for no. It has a numerical volume dial - 30 is the max - so we could also ask number-related questions. I asked him what his favorite number is. The volume went to 28.

  • @TheDoctorwho747 (part 2) I was leaning over the radio so only I could see the number. Well, my friend's daughter was wearing an Adrian Peterson jersey. #28. I asked if that was the reason he chose #28. The volume went up. There were times when I was in the house and I'd go upstairs and the hairs on the back of my neck would immediately stand up. But sometimes I'd go upstairs and... nothing at all. I knew when he was there and when he wasn't.

  • @Jeff98177 Well now that is really something, you should tell your friends to have their house on ghost hunters I bet they would be interested. My other experiences were first I saw my grandmother in my room one night reaching out to me,I found out the next morning she had passed away that night. and the last was actually only a month ago, I was at at my friend's grandparents place at night, and his grandmother had died in the house. I'm outside by the garage smoking and I looked in the window

  • @TheDoctorwho747 They would but they like having him around, he doesn't try to scare anyone or anything like that. He's been seen in the house a couple of times over the years, too; just a normal looking 12 year old boy. They learned through yes-and-no questions that he died in the house of an unknown illness, and that it was a painful illness. He had tried to make contact over the years but everyone either brushed off the strange happenings or didn't notice them.

  • @Jeff98177 I saw, and I tell you now I feel very disturbed by what you just told me. And now I have a feel why watching this this movie scared people a more than they thought it would, me one of them, it's like they touched on something that they were not supposed to, got to close to the real thing and I am sure using real dead bodies didn't help. Bu still thank you for all the info

  • me and friends watched this one time. My one friend is afraid of clowns with a passion. So the scene where the clown doll comes alive and attacks the other kid, she screams and covers her eyes. lol The movie was that scary to me, but still a great movie.

  • heres the lalas meaning :D lalalala "were gunna get u" lalalalala "u cant run" lalalala "we have your daughter give up now" lalalalalalala "were gunna kill you all" lolz (not meant to hurt others or is it? muahahahhaha) like if u think these lyrics are correct or the lalas will get u

  • Same thin spider frog

  • My mom told me

  • Did you guys know that all the actors started having parnormal crap hapen to them after filming this movie and they're all dead now... thats kinda freaky x]

  • @spiderfrog445 Incorrect. A few of them have died but Jo Beth Williams and Craig T, Nelson are still alive and kicking.

  • @XxBrianIsABeastxX she had a blocked intestine due to an undiscovered birth defect. They didn't catch it til it was too late. :( Initially, she had been misdiagnosed as having Chron's Disease. So, she died of septic shock. :( Very sad.

  • haha this this freaks me out...to me little girls and old women freak me out the most in horror movies!

  • @XxBrianIsABeastxX

Its when your blood flow to the muscle of your heart is impaired

  • THAT IS SOME SCARY SHIT

  • @XxBrianIsABeastxX She died from a cardiac arrest

  • Incompleta, qué pena :-(

  • da fuck!!!?i heard this in the middle of the night!!!......

  • O.o my art teacher has this song!! i liked it untill the end.....

  • LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA.

  • Didn't the little girl die in real life? Fell head first into a TV or something?

  • @MrSeyerus Wow Idk about that...but yes she did die. Pretty sad, she was only like 12. The older sister from the first film was also died after it came out. Her boyfriend murdered her...Poltergeist is great, but I always remember this and it just bums me out.

  • @MrSeyerus she died of cancer i think...

  • @lilymaidyn her doctoer mis diagnosed her with Crohn.s diesese and her her on medication for it and her body and heart gave out, heather o' rourke is her name

  • @daedralord1 ummmm...k?

  • @MrSeyerus she did die, yes. But of course it had nothing to do with a tv. Her doctor misdiagnosed her, she actually had congenital stenosis of the intestines and died on the operating table :( R.I.P Heather

  • love it, its not creepy... it's creepy goodness of music. :) lol

  • My scary movie lullaby Lol

  • fuck this is creepy i cant sleep now crist la la la la la laaaaaa

  • The theme is supposed to represent Carol Anne's innocence, not the actual ghosts or monsters etc. That's why it's peaceful and not scary. I don't even find it creepy. I could listen to this when I go to sleep.

  • GREAT MOVIE!!! IT IS A CLASSIC!!!!!!

  • It's creepy and sad how a few months after the making of this movie, the actress for the older sister is strangled to death, and then a few years later when all the poltergeist movies are finished, the actress for the little girl dies.. It's creepy and sad to think of the odds and listening to this song at the same time..

  • Best Horror movie!!

  • I always thought this song was too pretty to be assocaited with a horror movie...

  • I like the movie and the thme song :)
