Knicks made a mistake signing him to a short term contract. They should have given him 3 years 5 million. Lin would have taken that deal at that point. Now in the offseason he's an unrestricted free agent and he is going to sign a contract thats going to pay him 5-6 million (most likely with the Knicks). They will end up giving him 10-13 million when it could have been just 5 million. When you make 20 million off him in 1 week I think the guy is definitely worth 5 million over 3 years.
