I'm the owner of the M5, and let me tell you that I have never seen so much hate for a vid that I posted. I know that the V won hands down. Only the drive of the V and the other people that were there know why the 1st two races were by 6 or 7 lengths. The 3rd race was much closer. Not making any excusess. Tuan is very cool and this was the 1st time either one of us had raced our cars. We both want to race again. Maybe the out come will be the same maybe it won't

I agree. They're just cars. One is faster than the other. It comes down to power:weight and aerodynamics. In this comparo, the CTS-V is just plain faster. Why are people so surprised. It has more hp and gobs more torque and weighs just a couple hundred pounds more. People have been trapping 3-4mph faster in the 1/4 mile than the M5 so these races are not surprising. Why do people have to get their panties in a bunch?

so--these guys ran three times. all three of the vids from inside the caddy are posted on another site. so they do three honks and go from 40 roll up to 150--all three races the same--cts-v murders the M5 just like you se in this vid.

So the V gets 6 or 7 carlengths easy, then gets out of it, and the BMW does the traditional loser fly by. and you guys are talking about how fast the m5 is????  Tjis vid shows it getting creamed-just like EVERY other vid of the cts-v against the M5. ??
