Anyway, I would much rather have a beurocrat in charge of my health care than someone who only cares about how much money they can milk out of me. A beurocrat would rather cure me than continually treat me.
America holds the distinction of having the most expensive healthcare system on earth and having an infant-mortality rate of just over 6 per thousand births. America's ranking is 177th out of 223 nations. Let's put this into perspective: the UK spends about 1/3 of what the US spends, but infant mortality is 4.62 per thousand. How do America's right-wing idiots get away with lying, belching their ignorant farts so smugly and proud.

Being european I can tell you that I feel pretty good that I'm not gonna be turned away from the care I need because of a pre-existing condition.
I don't have to worry about the cost of my treatment or where I get it!
I am actually quite proud that I - through my taxes - help my contrymen from having to worry about these things as well!
Is it perfect?
No!
No system is!
But at least we know we can get medical attention when we need it!
That's economically rational - NOT socialist!
