I am going to stick with an iPad, although I have talked myself into waiting for an iPad 3 since they are rumored to come out in September. I am still a bit ticked that you can't get flash on an iOS device though. Come on Steve Jobs, I need to be able to use Flash on my iPhone and I am not going to get an iPad until I am able to.

@IIIKrazyKiDDIII yeah. I have an iPhone 4 and a TouchPad and the touchpad does feel like what a tablet should be, something you can have fun with but still get REAL work done. The only thing I dont like about WebOS in general is the lack of apps, but its understandable. Hopefully HP leases webOS to other companies so that its more attractive to developers.

Hardware looks alot like the iPad or larger version of the iPhone 3G.

The HP Touchpad is at best a mediocre alternative to the iPad 1 or 2. WebOS is glitchy and doesn't take efficient advantage of the hardware it runs on. I don't see anyone catching up to the polished and refined iPad and IOS anytime soon.

@korwinblue HDMI yes that is missing however, Flash with the adoption of html 5 is getting less usefull and honeslty most people can live with 32 or 64 gb on a tablet. The ipad does multitasking fine. I don't need to see apps running at the same time as a gimic. Oooh look the game and the hd movie are running at the same time...So what lol. They sould check their battery usage too.. And the interface on the ipad is clean. I guess thats just personal pref.

@PuyallupHero Specs and all might matter to us, but to the average consumer who doesnt know better, the price, wether or not they like the design and feel of the hardware and software and what company its from matters more. IE: If someone had a bad experience with Samsung and a good one with HP they might buy from HP because they dont understand the specs etc.
