I write a text, re-read the text multiple times, make sure I am sending the text to the right person, re-read the text a few more times, send the text, then re-read the text over and over to gauge the possible reactions the receiver will have, doing so until they reply, by which point I forget what I originally hoped to gain from sending the text and have to re-read my text once more after reading theirs to see why it makes sense.
