I am excited as heck I finally found this song... the song captivated me when i first watched the trailer, and I was really disappointed it wasn't actually used in the movie. I wish the movie sounded more like this! But... tho I do like how this remix works well with the Daft Punk score... I'd also love to get hold of a version that sounds more like the trailer--- i.e. NOT so much with the dance beat! Thanks!

I think it could be considered Electronica.

Groups like Astralasia and Juno Reactor fall into that style of music.

But this amazing stuff is more like Electronica for film. It's stunning.

Ok first off I like a whole lot better than the daft punk so called theme (THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ORIGINAL TRON MUSIC!!) Personally i dont wanna hear any kinda Rhythmic Dance track to TRON. I mean common people what are you thinking!! The trailer background music is PERFECT for Tron legacy. At least MCP9000 understands that part. but the whole adding a beat just dont make any kind of sense!.

I mean, how many of you were dancing while watching TRON!!???
