its funny really a few weeks ago we had some visiters from Devon who had come to see relatives in Beighton and they came to st marys to ring at our practice, The guy I forgot his name told us the tenor at the church he was captain at was 24 cwt and when he was ringing at our church he asked how heavy ours was its just under 9 cwt he was stunned and said it sounds much heavier than their 24 cwt tenor. So I guess sounds can be deceptive.
