They have the same chime in the Womens section of Dillards.
There was a chime in Wellington Green next to the one that has this similar tone
Also this gong that they use was going to be used for the Macys wing of the mall along with the beep used in the Schindler-type Innovation indicator and change to 1 2 to replace LL through UL
The chime in 2012 will be the chime that most Dovers use at Lavaca Garage and the Westin in Broward County for going up while the chime from this elevator will be for the bottom of the Dover lantern without the buzz
@CaptainElevator42189 Okay, sorry if I was a little mean. I just thought it was an Esco. But I filmed this elevator today because we are going to Galveston, TX and South Padre Island.
Nice elevator. Interesting how this and the other Dillard's elevator have almost identicle elevators, even though the other Dillard's was always a Dillard's and this one started as something different.
Why do the lights turn off when the elevator is in motion. The over head lights, it might have been the camera, but i was watching another video of an otis elevator and the lights were blinking also.
In northeast Arkansas at Arkansas State University where I work, we have several elevators with the same fixtures but the brand name is Craft. When I looked in the machine rooms of the different buildings, they were in fact Esco elevators. They look identical to this one.
The other video was taken in the Women's Dillard's store. Again, it would have been better to have a single 4 floor building, rather than 2 separate, 2 floor buildings.
oh the other one was at Highland mall why does dillards have a building for mens and a building for women why dont hey have them in the same building like macys
This chime was the old chime at the old Wellington Green Mall's chime days
In my dream the chime returned

Indeed, this was the bell used from the late 1990's to the late 2000's, approximately 1997-2009.

As with the new bell it's lower pitched, and has been used on Kone elevators from 2009 to now.
CaptainElevator42189 1 month ago
The chime in this one is almost similar to the original chime at the middle of Wellington Green Mall

Is Barton Creek Still There? Nice Elevator.
CBMAwards 3 months ago
Yes, this is a nice elevator and Barton Creek Mall is still there, doing quite well since it's in a nicer part of Austin.
CaptainElevator42189 3 months ago
Remember before you had the title as Esco though.
TheZekethunder 1 year ago
Okay, but you can look at the escalators, and they are Otis.

TheZekethunder 1 year ago
No, you weren't mean, but it's just that the escalators are Otis, and that's why I call this an Otis elevator.
CaptainElevator42189 1 year ago
@CaptainElevator42189 Okay. Thanks!
TheZekethunder 1 year ago
I thought this was an Esco.
TheZekethunder 1 year ago
Actually, it's an Otis, because of the escalators.
CaptainElevator42189 1 year ago
Yes, that's very interesting indeed.

Yes, it's the camera's reaction to the lights, since it sometimes occurs with other elevator brands.

Yes, it is.
CaptainElevator42189 3 years ago
is this a public elevator
buginafugreturns 3 years ago
No, there is no indicator on this elevator.
CaptainElevator42189 3 years ago
Is there an indicator?
jeopardyman 3 years ago
That's because it's a big elevator.
CaptainElevator42189 3 years ago
So, are you considering it a service elevator?
elevatorsonly 3 years ago
Yes.
CaptainElevator42189 3 years ago
Why did you type that this is a service elevator?
elevatorsonly 3 years ago
It is, but they were part of Otis Elevator for a short time.
CaptainElevator42189 3 years ago
that looks like an Esco.
buginafugreturns 3 years ago
No. This is the only one, and also at the Women's Dillard's, there's only one elevator there as well.
CaptainElevator42189 3 years ago
Is There Another Elevator?
Elevator5519 3 years ago
Yes, this is an Esco elevator, but is basically a rebranded Otis elevator.
CaptainElevator42189 3 years ago
I think this could be an Esco elevator.
alpaljl 3 years ago
Yes, but this chime is now used on all elevator brands.
CaptainElevator42189 3 years ago
The chime sounds like a Kone elevator.
daddy444 3 years ago 2
I think they were attendant operated, and also, the older controllers didn't have enough room for a door close relay.
CaptainElevator42189 3 years ago
Why don't old elevators have a door close button?
thyssenelevator95 3 years ago
Yes, but older elevators didn't have the door close button.
CaptainElevator42189 3 years ago
Now all that's missing is a close button.
Baytrail 3 years ago
Maybe the Esco elevators were installed by the Tejas Elevator Company, even though Esco was part of the Otis Elevator Company.

No. It's all Esco equipment, or it could be second-hand Otis equipment with the Esco logo on it.
CaptainElevator42189 3 years ago
esco cab and fixtures and otis drive system

I don't know, but that's the way it was built.

Actually, this is the only elevator in the building, so it serves as a passenger and service elevator.
CaptainElevator42189 4 years ago
