Thank you so much for all it took to put this together I was able to learn it in detail. I am wondering if somewhere in the future you could diagram the kick off to Drift Away, a Dobie Gray song.Again thank you so much and God bless.
brilliant ,,and correct,,all the hyp about picking,,just travis or strum ,,long as the chord-notes are there,,,,and soo good to actually jam w the origanal ,,,hello ,,,,,peace
Thank you for helping me to play Blackbird. No one even comes close in helping learn this piece. Spent considerable time on your site. Worth every minute and hour! Very innovative and to the point. Thank you!!! Much appreciated!
Congratulations -Very good , innovative way to teach guitar. However you show invert the guitar neck - like a mirror image of what you have - so that the learner can see and relate the dots to his own left hand fingering.... rather than watching someone else play it which takes time for beginners. Good stuff.
hahaa, first time I picked up the guitar was yesterday, and I learnt to play "Daytripper". Getting all cocky, I thought 'oh, I'll learn "Blackbird"... it will take me a while, but how hard can it be??'
...... after watching this - I think I'll wait a while.
to make this easier for me i copy and pasted every frame/chord thingie onto paint. but i thought it was kind of confusing, so i took every one of them and flipped them horizontally and virtically so that it was like looking down at my guitar in my arms... kinda like what minnonikki said..just placing my fingers where i saw them!! easy!
maybe you could try to somehow do a FAKE guitar image, showing the BACKside of the guitar, with strings and all, so while we're watching we can just place our fingers exactly whre we see them.
Great. It would be great if it went over it slower though. Great vid.

umm, when the strings above the nut are highlighted does it mean open note??
TheEnd321 3 years ago
Yes, but try to drop a note from the 3º string before of play the two string that are highlighted. It's sound better.
