I bought one in L.A. in the early 90's for $1200--it was a car dealer's car so it was MINT. Took her out on the fwy early a.m. & was challenged by a "Chebby" lowrider so i floored it. they fell back & my speedometer broke when I hit 120mph. I'm female & i was 40+. HaHaHa! Felt so good.
when I was in high school my friends parents had one of these "brand new". He would borrow it and we would go "cruising" around all night in it ( gas was abou 50 cents per gallon back then in the USA). I remember it was a very nice car.
Love the sound of that 455 ci beast.
