I didn't think it would be this good. Dear god, it's wonderful! It's beautiful, it's so Helen Magnus :)
If Amanda Tapping wants the writers and directors to give Helen a love interest, they need to get this babe back and have some romance. Have them run into one another at another strange location with her transporting some other nasty something something, have them team up, become enemies, then in the final duel end making out and going down on each other right at the credits, then throw her in as someone Helen is seeing casually, then get serious before s5 ends, shower scene yo for the fans!
This was an unexpected and in my opinion a great surprize! Obviously, Amanda Tapping/Dr Helen Magnus are gorgeous women, and I think it was a waste that the character never showed any sign of sexuality, until now. I have one question: I have seen this clip several times, but I still cannot understand what Charlotte said to Magnus after the first kiss; does anyone know what she said? I also hope that Charlotte returns, and we explore Magnus' sexuality more.

I think the kiss was a very nice unseen touch there, seeing the human side of Magnus.. I must say it's sad that they didn't use it in the next episode.
It's really easy to see why Helen is attracted to Charlotte. She's a scientist, able to keep calm during a crisis, and is willing to risk her life to save others without the expectation of reward. Hopefully they'll bring Charlotte back in the future.

Great episode. Someone asked me if the character is bi. I told them she's only had two relationships with men that we know of. I am of the opinion Helen is the kind of person that would meet someone and either she's attracted or not attracted. It's not so much about labeling her straight, gay, or bisexual. That's my opinion.
I just love this so much , because it was so bold and realistic . I mean it really does make sense , she's almost 400 years old by now and I'm sure though bed with John was ... Interesting... She'd get tired off all the same Thing . And I'm glad Helen has a companion now , especially sense she's hot -3 and seriously for the people saying this is gross and wrong ....do you not get the whole understanding and acceptance lesson that is Sanctuary ?
