I think Capcom should kill off at least one of the main characters. It's gotten to the point that whenever you have a game with Chris, Jill, Leon or Claire, you take for granted that none of those four will ever die. One of the things that makes horror different from other genres of fiction is that generally, there's no such thing as character shields, and anyone can die at any moment. Resident Evil doesn't have that unpredictability to it anymore.

Of course it isn't an follow up to one of the alternate endings. It's painfully obvious that they follow the main storyline where Jill, Barry, Chris, Rebecca and Wesker escape the mansion alive. And also, why would it be based on one of the alternate endings if Jill died in 2006, while Resident Evil 1 takes place in 1998? As well as her presence in Residend Evil 3 and UC.
