I have to disagree. What I "hear" effects me more than someone's eyes. I could care less if he ever opened his eyes as long as that voice sings! David opens his eyes sufficiently, but when he really wants to connect to the song he feels it from within. This whole "open eyes" BS is ridiculous. Either you connect with his music or you don't, he doesn't need to be staring at you to be able to figure that out.

I LOVE David's voice!! I am a great fan of his. BUT, I'm just trying to help him. It's an annoying habit of his, imho. Even AI Simon noticed it and tried to correct it. If he raises his eyebrows, it will help him overcome this. Now, granted, 'SOME' closing of eyes is OK, but poor David does WAY too much, jmho. And, I do "connect" with his music and charming character that he is.
