as a white texas-born american,i loved this series. The production, including the incidental music and synth-based theme music, made the series unique.I can still remember watching this episode back in the 70s and sharing a bag of fritos with my brother.
Anyone know which episode featured the "screaming skull" segment? I have many pairs of clean underwear and it seems such a shame to let them go to waste.
Aha! I was recalling a part where the owners of the skull took it out and buried it in a toolshed. I just couldn't picture a castle with a toolshed out back. Episode 2.20, good chance it'll make it onto DVD.
John Edward [NOT 'Edwards'] IS the real deal ... along with Lisa Williams, George Anderson, Rosemary Altea, and Allison Dubois. There are many others also ... however those are the best known ones. Wish I knew what became of Ingrid Beckman. If it's a phony psychic you'd like to be made aware of ... then look no further than Sylvia Browne. She has now been exposed several times over for being a total fraud. In the beginning, I used to buy her books and watch her on Montel ... but no more!
@PhoebeHelen: If they make money off of what they do for the public, then they're all phoney. I understand people need to make a living and earn money, but spiritual gifts like these need to be held sacred. They should only be used to help people become better off in life as a guidance....and WITHOUT charge. Nor should countless number of books be written and only for the reason of financial gain to the author. I don't believe anyone who goes in front of cameras making money from it.
I think they mentioned in part 2 that the psychic lady didn't know anything about the house or town prior. I suppose its up to us whether to believe that or not.
Probably one of the better In Search Of episodes I think.

This was kind of a lame ISO, really only focused on one haunting.

It's better that way though because they can do a thorough investigation.

So the historian said the current house was built on an "old cellar"? And existing foundation?
Anybody know what became of the story?

Who are the real ones? I know the fake psychics tend to be the ones most popular on TV and such like John Edwards. But who are the real psychics?

Yeah. I could mention I'm better looking than Brad Pitt, but if it's true is up for debate.
