it's the same song from MK3. Only difference is that, when ported, they screwed up the sampling rate. I believe this one is in 22050Hz, when it should be at 44100Hz. Just needs to be sped up 100%

While it may be a new recording, it's still the same pitch! the frequency wasn't updated when they ported the song. This might have actually been intentional, but check this out.. if you have this song on recording, and you have it set at 44100Hz and you change it to 48000Hz, you'll restore the original pitch. either way, this is a better version.

Actually, I have MK3 PC version that was released back in 1995 I think, and it's funny because they come in audio tracks (CDA) together with the program as an enhanced audio CD, So you can actually open up WMP and play track by track. And THIS is the version that came with the game. So, at least for PC, this is 'The Temple' theme MK3 version as well.

The girls are nice, but DoA actually has pretty competent system, even if it may be a bit slower than a lot of 2D fighters. DoA 4 is the best of the 3D fighters that've come out this gen, although VF 5 can trump it regarding technicality but that's really it.
