One thing I'll say is as one who's from New York but has spent my last 10+ yrs in Florida, I've noticed visiting home that generally all rap is played there but here in the south (especially here in Jacksonville) you hear nothing but the south's music, with the exception of people like Jay-Z or Kayne West.
