I am a singer who was part of traveling show band and was asked many times why I never audition for Idol--it's because I know that they purposefully send bad signers on to Paula Simon and Randy After the singers go through two to three other panels. These people delusional or no, probably think they "made it" not knowing they are being set up. I despise this tactic. I know as well as anyone how hard the industry is--but people should still be treated with dignity...
