Does anyone know exactly what I can do to raise the height of the left pedal without changing the beater angle? Cause I've got good angle and everything, I just need to raise the pedal to where it won't bottom out before the beater hits the drum.

Me myself, would never buy a 800 dollar pair of axis pedals for an electronic drumset. I think that they are constructed to the more acoustic sound. IMO!

It is all personal preference, try them both out and see which suits you more. I love the Axis Long boards, I would choose them of Pearl any day, but thats just me. Everyone's body works differently, therefore one pedal might suit you more than the other.

Its way easier to play on an electric kit than an acoustic, try doin those triplets and rolls on a real bass drum, its gets much harder to keep the intensity thats why most speed demon drummers need triggers.

you will be able to go faster man if you bring your beaters higher up and put the spring tension at about three quarters of the way and have the beaters about 3 to 4 inches away from the pad man.

It's all about personal preference. Like I said before, i like the way the Demon Drive felt over Axis pedals. But that's just me. You might really enjoy the Axis', so it could be an instant thing for you.

For me, i could never get the feel for them that I wanted. Again though, that's just me.

Just keep up with them, and tweak little stuff here and there, and you'll get them to how you want.

if you want to speed up, axis is the way to go. they take a while to get used to tho.. they are very smooth and light, and DW 7000s are pretty heavy. get axis but BE PATIENT for the first few weeks because they will take some getting used to. alot of people get them and think they are bad because they are too light
