haha! you should read both the books that this movie is based on, That Summer and Someone Like You. In Someone Like You, Macon is a total jerk, but I haven't seen this movie yet, but I want to, it looks good.

I've read the How To Deal book. I heard it was both of those books combined, but I'm not sure if they took parts out or what, but yeah, it was a little different than the movie, but still good stuff. I'll read them both separately sometime.

I agree as well. Someone Like You's ending was just so much better than this movie's ending. seriously. It was more realistic instead of mushiness (although I always like Macon/Halley even though he was kindof a jerk in the book)

1st of all the books aren't a set, they are two different books with different characters that were combined to make the movie. 2nd, i think someone already yelled at you about filming your tv, so i won't focus on that too much. 3rd, the sound is really off and it's annoying.
