I do see what you are saying and you do make some points.

1- Conan's show Failed in the Ratings, there was no one to replace either of them, even if both camps fought against NBC. So they realized well we have to bring back what was working. > Leno.

Conan was a lightweight in that spot, it didn't work, people weren't laughing and he got a king's ransom when he was let go. Leno didn't "slash his tires" and who is she to tell someone when they should leave a show. Also, dykes always defend Stern. They love watching him disrespect women. @gmcjetpilot Im not 100% sure of what your saying, but from what it sounds like, you don't really understand what hapened. Coco did give NBC a choice, but refused to hurt the tonight show legacy by moving it back for Jay's show(which was doing horribly). Like someone mentioned earlier, Conan wasn't willing to sacrifice this for his own personal gain, Jay was. Also, Jays ratings, as of right now, are worse than conans were at this time last year, and are barely better than Conan's. (0.1 better)

But don't go diss conan because YOU completely misinterpret his comedy. He does have a sense of humor, it's just much different than yours apparently. Yea after watching him since 1994 regularly with a few yrs off here and there, I really don't get it. Viva La Difference. CoCo is a ridiculously rich man with more money than he can spend in 5 lives. Yes, I know its also probably partially because Conan didn't want to move, but can you blame him. He was barely where he was befor NBC decided to break the contract. Yes, NBC broke the contract, not Conan. I do agree with you about Craig, though. I've always loved Craigyferg. lot less drama too.

CoCo went rouge, with a PUBLIC manifesto saying MY WAY 100% OR I QUIT. He gave NBC no room. He worked 15% of a 4 yr contract. He could've tried it for 18 months. Leno will retire soon. TEAM WORK! I'd LOVED IT! I like both. However AMERICA is made up of adults who like a classic talk show, topical stand up, who does setup, punch line joke joke joke, so they can fall asleep and go to work in the morning. CoCo is great for sight gags and if your high I guess.

CoCo doesn't deserve sympathy or to be worshiped as a cutting edge comic genus. He worked for NBC about 20 yrs, made 100's of millions. CoCo's first 5 yrs SUCKED. NBC stood by him. Ferguson is way more Avant-garde than CoCo and a REAL Scotsman w/ a real accent. Fallon has way better improv and musical chops and band interaction. Letterman is mean w/ controversial guest interviews. Leno is a stand up joke man, no song & dance. Change channel as you like. LENO IS #1!
