  • Nice idea Grayson..... trouble is, it's not an idea which will make rich people richer and poor people poorer so there's no way the Republican party overall will support it.

  • He is hilarious, sarcastic and so direct, money is being thrown around in the air which could be used to provide what's important.. and it's really embarrasing for the republicans to hear this =)

  • wanna taste that wine

  • Why don't the poor pay their fair share? They use up a hell off a lot more federal tax dollars than the rich do, and don't pay a dime in taxes.

  • @freakylocz14 And the rich do? lmao. Welfare for the rich and poor. Use some critical thinking next time.

  • @Zodiakwarrior The rich pay over of 40% of all taxes.

  • @freakylocz14 that is a lie, don't lie, Mr buffet him self that have billions said that his secretary pay more in taxes than him, and she makes $100.000 a year, 40% my ass

  • Comment removed

  • Everyone should watch this video. It lays out in stark terms what extending the tax cut for the rich really means and what we are giving up as a result.

  • I've always said that the rich in this country does not care about the rest of us. Bill Gates over the last decade gave 30 billion dollars towards eugenics and global population reduction. Warren Buffet gave a cool 37Billion to reduce the population. What average people around the world need to wake up to is these oligarcs want the world for themselves. They think it is their right and average paople like us are in the way of that idea.

  • Can't fucking believe that some people think that what US needs is MORE MONEY TO THE RICH?!

  • You really need to be an idiot to believe the idea of giving tax breaks tot he rich companies will bring more jobs. Companies will hire if they need people; they will not hire only because they have extra money on their pockets.

The problem is that every mentally challenged person out there with a sense of absolute selfishness will vote republican...and there are many out there

  • He should have ended his speech with a "Booyah!"

  • Why do liberals claim the "filthy rich" are Republican donors? Most of the filthy rich I know of are liberals. Kennedy, Roosevelt, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, George Soros, Oprah, the list is endless. But hey, democrats stand for the common man, like the welfare needy trial lawyers, union bosses & hollywood celebrities.

  • @BlackRepublican2010 The rich have no such thing as political affiliation. They can be liberal or conservative, and their lives won't be affected much. The people who actually have important things to lose are the middle and lower class. If the middle and lower class support republicans, they are screwed because the republicans are supported by corporate interests.

This is why democrat exist simply because the voice of the majority are the little people whose lives depend on it.

  • @BlackRepublican2010 Simply not true, Firing off a few movie stars and x presidents has no bearing on actual statistic regarding party affiliation and socioeconomic class.

  • @BlackRepublican2010 Naming a few celebrities, x presidents and corporation owners has really no statistical ramifications for party affiliation with respect to socioeconomic class and party affiliation.

  • We needed to clone Alan Grayson. And this is why the Repubes worked so hard to get him out. They couldn't afford to have stark reality and economic sanity spoken in Congress to interrupt their echo machine.

  • I'm a conservative, but Grayson has a pretty good idea here.

  • @frogman360 Put tax cuts to popular vote. The Swiss recently voted against a federal tax hike (from 11.5 to 22%) for people earning 250000 francs or more. And their unemployment and poverty rates are still the lowest in the West. You won´t hear about it in MSM

  • @xaviqaz

Thank you for sharing this info with me. This would never make it on CNN either lol!

  • Wouldn't it be nice if those who benefitted most from tax cuts would take the savings and reinvest it into their businesses/corporations and create some jobs. Preferably in America. Thats the point of these tax cuts,,,isn't it?

  • the way he is so sarcastic is just a slap in the face to the republicans, i love it

  • i hate Republicans & Conservatives from all parties !!! they are fucking "EVIL" they should all burn in Hell !!! Fake ass Christians & Hypocrites !!!

  • The sad thing is that IDIOTs voted for this IDIOT and they allowed the government to take money from their paycheck (taxes) to pay for this IDIOT to make ridiculous poster boards & scare uneducated Americans to hate the people who DARE to take risk & start companies & create the jobs they enjoy everyday. Becoming wealthy (the American Dream) = Bad to IDIOTS like him, paying the salary of this IDIOT = Good, since the people who vote for people like him are too dumb to take care of themselves! ! !

  • @Delparm Don't throw stones, if you live in a glass house.

  • @rrraskalnikov

    Glass? Brick & Mortar!

  • @Delparm idiot.

  • @Atheeizm

Child, if you still don't see that the DemocRat party is the party of idiots who still have not grown up & want government (workers taxes) to take care of them, then you still have alot of gowing up to do.

"Any man who is under 30, and is not a liberal, has no heart; and any man who is over 30, and is not a conservative, has no brains."

  • @Delparm and you call yourself christian. Reciting stale mantras wont win you the argument. Conservative 'family values' have put both parents into the workforce, so much for forethought. Conservatives have neither heart not brains. You are beyond help. Your Jesus would be ashamed of you.

  • @Atheeizm

no, no, please don't say that. Now I won't be able to sleep.

In America people chose if both parents should work "or" if they want to live with two incomes. Go away, LibTards bore me. I don't have time for conversations with children.

  • @Delparm Yes you continue running away. If you want a real discussion with real statistics come back to me. The inane 'children' remarks will come and haunt you if you do come back however. by the way , when you die there will be nothing and you will merely be food for invertebrates, only an immature mind would think otherwise. Just thought i'd add that :) take care now.

  • Someone's butthurt about losing the midterms.

  • Jesus would have been in favor of universal healthcare , why are all the religious Republicans against it ?

  • @MindofaJedi

Silly guy, Christians don't believe in Jesus anymore.

  • This man was a hero!

  • Another Record for a Record Failure President: NATIONAL DEBT TOPS $14 TRILLION

  • Consider all the accomplishments of this Congress. In the face of right-wing fearmongering, lies, the attempted demonization of Obama, the record-setting filibusters (broke their own record, btw), the "secret holds," this Congress got some things done.

What did Republicans accomplish? What did they fight FOR? Tax cuts for the corporate elite. Righties must be so proud today.

  • Liberal Democrats hate the rich more than they love economic growth or tax cuts for the middle class. Democrats find it is more emotionally satisfying to punish the wealthy than it is to assist the non-wealthy.

  • Shit, son, pass me that franklin. Light me up.

  • good job Alan, the visuals make a difference!

  • Gee I wonder if Grayson kept his Bush tax cuts, or whether he wasnt a stinking hypocrite and gave them back to the US treasury.

  • @clintlong2003 I wonder if those who voted against Healthcare are willing to give up their GOVERNMENT health care

  • how in the hell does anyone can even think that a president can undo in less than 2 years all the damage done to a country in 8 years? why in the hell the idiots did not push Bush about the economy in 8 years? because they were the same moderfockers, billions of dollars thrown away for a made up war, to feed the fear, to secure power, and to make the rich richer and the poor poorer, if we owe something to Bush is the dissapearance of what was formerly known as Middle Class, may it RIP.

  • lol!! 3:53 thats my rent money!

  • Rep. Grayson is a loser. Why? He lost his seat. He proved to be an embarrassment to the majority of voters in his district and his constituency was absolutely correct in booting the Loudmouth from Disneyworld out of office. Here's a hint folks: Winterpark is a majority Republican district. Maybe you on the left forgot a painful lesson: you don't go around bashing your constituency; you never bite the hand that feeds you.

  • @central807 He did not. He is about the truth. You have a right to your own opinions but not your own facts. Bridges or billionaires?

I say we fix the bridges before they kill more people.

  • @bonchidude

One is not entitled to "facts." They are what they are. Continue to suck the koolaid, So long as my fellow countrymen are being killed off by a bunch of Koran waving terrorists. If he spoke so much the truth, then he wouldn't have been voted out of office. Now that's a fact you are entitled to :^).

  • @bonchidude

Hey Angola. Get back to me when you get better educated regarding U.S. politics. Otherwise, you are really too stupid to grasp what is really happening from an

American prospective. Since you live in Angola, a corrupt communist run country, please don't speak for the rest of us. Stay in Africa where you belong.

  • @bonchidude The anti-rich rethoric is populist demagoguery. What America needs is to make GE and other big guys PAY taxes, closing tax loopholes. And cut the corporate tax (40% is the world highest rate) for mid-size and small companies

  • @xaviqaz Ummm? No country has a 40% corporate tax bracket. And currently income tax is not 40% either. Regan had obscene taxes for people making around 175k. But, it was more reasonable for people earning 500 million - 1billion (You know the richest of the rich we always talk about). No one is anti-rich. Well, no one who has ever mattered. That has never been a debate either. Anyhow, your only quoted % is so far off I am not sure what you are trying to say.

  • The Rich sure as hell are not going to create jobs with these tax cuts, rather they will just keep the money for superficial luxuries that they don't need, while every one else suffers, the Repulican way!

  • PLEASE RUN FOR PREZ GRAYSON

  • Obama cut taxes for all Americans, take it up with your leader Chump. GOP runs America not some loud mouth on the floor killing time on my watch. America fired your loud mouth ASS for this behavior.

Nov 2, 2010 sent this loud mouth packing.

  • geees i guess 3 million jobs could even get us out of the resession wouldnt ya think

  • i believe if this man was president he would have the guts to veto not compromise

  • Wow

  • this country needs to stop working and just let the rich suffer cause when we work at our dead end jobs to make ends meet we are feeding the rich. So whats the point of working? we lose either way.

  • @MRTEL7777 HEAR, HEAR! Bridges or billioanires?? I say fix the bridges before more of them kill people.

  • @bonchidude

By the way, you would look a lot more intelligent if you wrote cogent sentences and arguments that defend your position instead of name calling. You consistently bash the "rich," yet, you offer very little as to the consequences of that policy you defend. As I said before, please stay in Angola. You are better off defending your socialist/communist policies in that country rather than coming to this country to spout that provenly failed construct.

  • Trying to convince americans of what's really going on in this country is like trying to shave a gorilla in a port-o-potty.

  • TAKE THE CAR! TAKE THE CAR!!!

  • OMG...Did someone suggest Grayson is on the same wavelength as that racist America-hating scum, Ron Paul???

Alan Grayson cares about the working man, the middle class, minorities...and you suggest he and PAUL work together?? LOL Paul wants to abolish every social program, the civil rts act, public education..EVERYTHING the people like Grayson have worked for 60 yrs to enact!

That's the biggest laugh I have had in ages!!

  • @zenbrenzz What's funny is I must have gone a full five minutes without seeing a left-winger pointing the finger and calling someone a racist.

  • @ForexFerret What's funny is I must have gone 1 second without hearing from the RPaul cult, racist.

  • @zenbrenzz If only you could go one second without thinking about that chip on your shoulder.

  • @ForexFerret Yeeehaw..I was right...hahahah

  • @zenbrenzz

Because those were big government spending programs and paul did not want them and scum like gayson supported obamacare down our throats, shame.

\there is no difference between left and right.

  • @jmjfanss You said Paul cares about the poor and middle class....OH MY GOD...You are killing me!!!!!!

    Please get into comedy!

  • @zenbrenzz

He does, that's why he is going after the evil central bankers and he will tear them down!

  • Comment removed

  • while in Congress, this Grayson has been cooperating with Ron Paul to reform the Financial industries and defense budget,,,

unfortunately he didn't get respect that Ron Paul has got

  • Ron Paul is definetely not with the neocons.

    he is anti war himself.

  • Find it amazing that our tax system requires the people who wait tables to report all their nickle and dime tips but US corporations who move their headquarters to places like Dubai and the Cayman Islands to avoid paying taxes to continue to do business in this country or worse, continue to receive contracts from our government/.

  • there are 63 brainless assholes that don't know shit about how the republicans are fucking up this country. Florida must have same very stupid and uninformed people down there, that don't know shit about politice, if they have voted for a republican.

  • Comment removed

  • For all of you that "hate the rich" like your hero the soon to be unemployed out Al Grayson, please stop the following. DRIVING: A Rich dude engineered that car and a rich dude owns the dealership that sold it to you. EATING: Rich dudes own farms and food processing plants. WORKING: I do not know one poor person that is hiring. BTW, a rich dude designed the computer your on, the software your using, and a rich dude heads up the power company supplying you electricity

  • @jbaldrar Also, Youtube.com management makes over 200k a year so stay off youtube okay?

  • @jbaldrar lol, enjoy your patriot act and poverty. Can't believe I wasted 3 years of my life in combat and overseas garrison to come home to a lower quality of life then I had in Europe because of the rich dick riding America has been doing lately.

  • Here's a hint, buddy: The powers that be and the corporations that influence them and corrupt our government with bribes and lobbying do not give two fucks about the American people. When all is said and done and the country finally falls apart under the weight of greed, These people will be on a yacht laughing their asses off as they sail to Europe and rinse and repeat.

  • I told Lisa (your staff member that called me a ‘nazi’), Todd (your propaganda minister), Mi Mi (your office manager) that I, and many others, would knock on doors, raise money, and drive voters on election day for the sole purpose of voting you out of congress. Mission accomplished…..Bye bye Alan. Please allow the door to smack your ass on the way out.

  • Last November I, and 60% of the voters in Florida's 8th district, had the pleasure of voting this complete asshole out of office. Alan you are an embarrassment, an asshole, and a complete tool. Our Congress and our Country will be a better place once you are gone.

  • As someone looking in from over seas I have to admit that Mr Grayson is one of the few american politicians that make any kind of sense at all. Watching clowns like Palin or movements like the whole tea party thing scares the shit out of me. Especially when endorsed by liars like Glenn Beck and the whole posse of jingoistic zealots at Fox News.

You guys need more people like Grayson.

  • I guess the 62 people that disliked this must be millionaires.

  • @Arikiel just regular gop losers that don't pay taxes like joe the plumber.

  • the props are cool. #LOL

  • AMAZING how many fools STILL believe in voodoo economics!

    Tried and failed under Reagan.

Tried and failed MISERABLY under Bush, Jr.

How many American jobs were LOST from 2001 to the present?

But let's give them another 80 billion, while the unemployed millions can wonder how they will pay the rent and buy groceries this month.

GObP..The party of NO til it comes to helping out their rich friends.

  • @zenbrenzz Failed under Regan? Regan created jobs and fixed Jimmy Carter's mistakes. Unlike Obama who piss and moans about the past problems weighing down on him rather than putting a sock in it and fixing the issues.

  • @tudssquadbuisness

Reagan didn't create jobs. Reagan thought he could use the lasser curve to explain why tax cuts would increase the amount of money getting into the government's hands, then spent a crapload of money trying to build space lasers.

He got lucky and the USSR was stupid enough to compete with the spending and spend themselves dead. Following this oil prices dropped, and it became easier to fuel industry in america.

Reaganomics needs dumb luck to work.

  • @tudssquadbuisness Reagan's trickle down economics theory was complete failure...the rich kept their money, which was supposed to trickle down and "help" everyone.

Pres Obama is doing a pretty good job in my opinion, since the US economy was headed to hell when he took office. One of his biggest obstacles to the policies he tries to put into effect is the GObP and their obstructionist petty little games..showing you they have no problem destroying the US if it means they can destroy Obama.

  • @tudssquadbuisness According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics hear are the ACTUAL facts about job growth:

    (D) Roosevelt +5.3%; (D) Johnson +3.8%; (D) Carter +3.1%; (D) Truman +2.5%; (D) Clinton +2.4%; (D) Kennedy +2.3%; (R) Nixon +2.2%; (R) Reagan +2.1%; (R) Coolidge +1.1%; (R) Ford +1.1%; (R) Eisenhower 0.9%; (R) G. Bush 0.6%; (R) G.W. Bush -0.7; (R) Hoover -9.0

Funny how ALL of the republicans are at the bottom... it's almost as if their policies don't create jobs... how strange.

  • @zenbrenzz

It's simply amazing how you folks from the left continue to parrot that pap. Quite frankly, tax cuts were successful under Reagan, Bush, and Bush W. Maybe the voter's analysis of the present President's economic policy was correctly identified as a fool's errand; a rush to perdition and they voted in an unprecedented landslide in the House. Sorry, but voters don't buy it then and they don't buy it now. The only voodoo is from the witchdoctor on 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

  • @zenbrenzz Agreed, Trickle down is bullshit, but can we stop pretending that it's only the Gop helping out the wealthy elite. There aren't two parties. 139 Dems 138 Rep voted for it.

  • @zenbrenzz I'm sure glad that we have Obama here to end thaose darn voodoo economics. I've never had it so good. As a rich Republican, I keep getting richer all the time. Everytime someone loses their job, I get a check from an anoimous person. They send me money because I'm a rich Republican. And as you know, us rich Republicans make money the old fashioned way-we steal it from poor democrats. That's why all Republicans ar rich and all democrats are poor. Are you listening Nancy Pelosi?

  • this person makes Sarah Palin looks smart, but this clown is not getting all the media attention.

  • @JBBlitz

I won't comment on the "making Palin look smart" )-

but agreed, Grayson isn't getting all the media attention, primarily because

he didn't quit his duly elected post in order to be able to dedicate more time

    to being on reality TV.

  • It never ceases to amaze me how many of the working poor and middle class SUPPORT Republicans and how they pass laws to benefit the affluent and rich-voting for guys just because they have "Republican" with their name-it matters not about the person and their morals (or lack of them). Americans are amazingly like mindless automatons.

  • @WinterHaven

Who cares, both parties don't care about the poor and middle class, there is one person that does and that's ron paul.

  • Comment removed

  • @jmjfanss LMFAOOOOOFFFFFF

  • Doesn't that idiot know that's a good thing. The rich's desire to buy things, helps those that produce, manufacture, ship and sale those things. I used to work in a Factory that made SUV and Pickup parts. The vehicles we worked on, sold for no less than, $25,000 each. When the rich stopped buying, the vehicles we made, we lost our jobs, defaulted on our loans, and restaurants surrounding the job, had to reduce their work force. The more the rich have, the more they buy = more work/money for me.

  • @coliwood He is referring to millionaires. Rich is a general term. Middleclass people can afford a $25k car. Anyhow, the people who are not even millionaires that I know (~$400k/yr) don't bother buying $25k cars either...more like $75k ones. While expired tax breaks discourage spending, cuts for people below $250k lead to a lot more spending; that money general trickles upward to big companies via spending (Wal Mart, Ford, HP, etc). I doubt the vast majority of your customers were millionaires.

  • @piratetelecast Read what I said, "sold for no less than, $25,000" There is NO proof of "Trickle Up",wealth creation comes from the wealthy not the poor. And even if they didn't buy our products, down the road from were I worked, there was a CADILLAC factory, in the south they make Luxury cars. It doesn't matter WHAT they buy all that matter is THAT THEY BUY. Not to mention investors, employers and venture capitalist. when was the last time you worked for someone who maid less than you?

  • @coliwood Correction noted. The wealthy have little incentive to spend as much of their income as the middleclass, so comparatively less returns to the economy. The middleclass spend the money. A friend's company currently makes him ~$400k/yr--several year ago it was ~$600k/yr. He has had to lay off people. Wealthy clients are still spending normally, but his middle class clients are now mostly upper-middleclass. He's not going to bother creating jobs if no one is going to buy his products.

  • @piratetelecast people don't buy unless they have job security. If my employer, takes a 20% loss of income, be it profits or taxes, layoffs will occur. When taxes are high, the rich, horde and hide wealth. That is why raising taxes never works, the rich won't give you an opportunity to take it. The more money, the rich have, the more money I can make off of them. It is like milking a cow, while a calf is feeding. The more a greedy calf takes, the less the farmer can gather.

  • Grayson's examples are small peanuts... Art auctions at Sotheby's are shooting thru the roof - $35 mil for an Andy Warhol. Now why punish these folks just trying to support art?

  • Now, now they think Healthcare Reform is unconstitutional cause Beck told them so!

He's gonna slip some cyanide into some future shipment of your BeckFood...when you've served your purpose of helping to spread lies and incite violence and have become a strain on the party by and for the rich.

  • Unconstitutional? The right to be safe and secure in one's person is a constitutional right. Why would that same safety not apply to the safety of one's health?

We're already flipping the bill for illegals and those without health care who go into the hospitals/Emergency rooms to get help. (If you think we're not, you are sadly mistaken)

  • I see the Ron Paul Racist Cult is here...as usual..man! they are indoctrinated!

Ask this fine man, Grayson, what he thinks of your abolish government agenda.

Ask any minority what they think of Paul and his racist plans for America.

Ask any person who isnt extremely independently wealthy what they think of private schools, no minimum wage ETC..well. with Paul in power the kids cant afford to go to school, but with no labor laws they can work! at age 5!

  • @TheManiacalSatanist6

    YOU TELL EM!

  • I'm so sick of this left/right paradigm garbage, the repukenazi's and the dumbocrats, Jesse Ventura said it best

    LET'S ABOLISH POLITICAL PARTIES!

  • @StunnedByStupidity

Yeah and he supported obamacare, shame on him.

that's why I Despise both political parties, it makes me sick as fuck where they always blame each other, when both of them are to blame.

Cindy sheehan, cynthia mckinney made the right choice to leave that party.

  • Yeah and the dumocrats including this scumbag supported the unconstitutional obamacare and let's not forget, these are the same people that put impeachment off the table against the neo-cons that wrecked this country and took us to a war on lies, face it, your time is up, shame on the democrats and don't give me wrong, the republicans suck too, this is why I'm a libertarian and I'm glad I Left both parties behind, shame on them, shame on us.

  • @jmjfanss

and don't forget that most of them are members of the council on foreign relations which is a organization that promotes One World Govenment.

  • @jmjfanss ObamaCare is not unconstitutional. I swear, if some of you guys had your way, you'd say clean water is unconstitutional.

I agree, though, that they should be prosecuting the war crimes of the last administration. They have still had hearings on torture, though. And there is a bit of a new movement in the party to continue, particularly after GW clearly admitted to ordering torture on his little book tour.

  • @demmmmm1

Bullshit, it is unconstitutional, just like the war in iraq, both parties like you make me sick.

This is why I Left the democratic party 3 years ago.

I Still think obamacare is unconstitutional.

  • @jmjfanss What's unconstitutional about it? And why wasn't it considered unconstitutional when Republicans proposed it in the '90's?

And it's far from being just like the war in Iraq. Health reform isn't going to murder hundreds of thousands of innocent people. Quite the opposite.

  • @demmmmm1

Because wars and this obamacare are just trash.

  • @jmjfanss Oh, ok. There's a difference between being 'unconstitutional' and being 'trash,' in your opinion.

I agree on the wars. I hate all war, particularly wars that, in my opinion, have only served to increase recruitment for terrorists and terror activity around the world.

I don't find ObamaCare trash, however. It's a bit too early to tell, but what I've seen so far looks pretty good.

  • @demmmmm1

Not really, it's trash too, just like the wars, we don't need obamacare, it's just as unconstitutional.

  • Alan Grayson is a very rare thing: a democrat with balls.

  • Grayson = Pure Scum...bye bye don't let the door hit you on the ass!

  • @Slave2Reason ?? you dont agree with him??

  • @norterrible He ran the single most despicable campaign I've ever seen... Man is pure filth.

  • @Slave2Reason Sounds like you are very angry about something. Mind explaining? I'm not saying you are wrong, but using nasty words doesn't really convince me. Alan grayson sure sounds like he wanted to help the poor... doesnt sound bad to me.

  • @norterrible cut & paste on you tube

This was grayson's ad: Alan Grayson ad against american taliban Daniel Webster

This is what webster really said: Alan Grayson vs. The Truth

This is Grayson squirming: Alan Grayson Confronted On Taliban Dan Ad

  • who creates jobs and owns most of the businesses, not the lower class, not the middle class, but yes the upper class. Whenever there is a major tax increase on the upper class, they may have to fire many people to balance their companies budget. This will also lead to less risks and investing taking place. And not to mention less money to buy expensive items as shown in the video which helps stimulate the economy. Lastly, whenever taxes raise on the rich, there is incentive to not pay taxes

  • @BDOGGY00

We can no longer afford corporate welfare in this country. The middle-class have slowly suffered for 30 years and the wealthy have not.

Fact: EVERYONE gets the cut up to $250k. For $500k, its a $10k pinch on average. Not enough to fire someone and not enough to hire anyone. Demand will create jobs. Give that $700billion to people who will buy food w/it, pay their mortgage, electric bill - stimulate with it. Continuing to give it to the rich isn't helping.

  • @BDOGGY00 Oh thank you rich masters!

  • @BDOGGY00 Uh..I hate to break it to you but..we tried voodoo economics..under Reagan, under Bush, Jr...how well did that tax cut for the rich work from 2001 til the present? Don't take my word for it...ask any economist, or better yet, try to find a job..in this country.

  • You can tell how much the rich hated him with all that money they spent getting him out.

  • Comment removed

  • you are a bunch of idiots!!!!The millionaire tax break will actually generate more tax revenue. By the way, I know you are the dumbest Americans by newsflash, the tax brake is for American making $250,000 +, not all are millionaires. When ever there is a tax cut for the top bracket, more tax revenue is always collected. Just look at history when Ronald Reagan cut the taxes on the top bracket by 50%, and 5 times the amount of tax revenue was collected. Stop ruining America!!!!!!!!

  • @BDOGGY00 If you make $300k, you get the tax cut on the first $250,000. If you make $500k, same thing. "Generate more tax revenue." I love that one! So, by your theory, if we just reduce the tax rate to 0%, we'd have all the revenue in the world!

Reagan had to RAISE taxes, btw.

Our very best times in this country were BEFORE Reagan and his criminal friends started shifting everything to the rich. Trickle down DOESN'T TRICKLE DOWN.

Get your head out of your ass.

  • @demmmmm1 First of all, I never said trickle down works, but in essence giving tax breaks to the wealthy creates jobs and gives raises so it may

Also the laffer curve clearly demonstrates that the government wouldn't receive any tax revenue if they had an income tax of 0% or 100%

This was not just with Reagan!

When bush cut taxes on the wealthy......tax revenue increased

When bush cut the capital gains tax.......tax revenue increased

Read history and then reply to my comment

  • @BDOGGY00 You convenirently left out the stat where the economy collapsed and real unemployment at 20%. Not to mention the defecit.

  • @mmeister7 are you on crack......the economy tripled after reagan's tax cuts and unemployment decreased as well

  • @BDOGGY00 Ha, Reagan had 2.3% real growth per year during the 80s which compared to previous decades was quite bad. And you still left out the defecit again whihc ballooned under him. Just admit it, supply side voodoo economics is bullshit.

  • @BDOGGY00 Obviously, there needs to be a balance. Problem is that over the last 30 years, it all has gone to the upper crust as the middle-class is disappearing.

We went from 23 million jobs and a surplus created under Clinton and barely 3 million jobs and a shrinking economy under GW.

Reagan raised taxes 11 times, particularly when he faced a looming deficit.

Best way to raise revenues is to...raise revenues. Least effective way to stimulate the economy is to give tax cuts to the rich.

  • @demmmmm1

Yeah and cunton supported NAFTA, WTO and the repealment of the glass steagall act (It was bipartisan assholes).

  • @BDOGGY00 Also...tax cuts do not necessarily create jobs. Demand creates jobs. I'm not hiring 'til I know people are buying. This is why cutting off unemployment benefits has never been done in an economy like this, including under Bush when it wasn't quite as bad. 2 million people could halt all spending in a week or so. If that happens, AND we borrow $1trillion for tax cuts for the rich, what are we telling those who are struggling? We - don't - care. Tiffany's is doing well!

  • You are my candidate for President in 2012. I saw President Obama on Barbara Walters last night and he doesn't have the heart to attack the GOP. They need a wake up call that the American people are NOT WITH THEM AT ALL.

  • great vid

  • Good riddance DOUCHE!

  • I love Alan Grayson. If ONLY Pres Obama would take a cue from him and be as assertive! If only Pres Obama would tell the GObP to take a flying leap. Pres Obama, they WON'T compromise..stop trying! End the tax cuts for millionaires and extend unemployment benefits! Repeal NAFTA and end tax breaks for corps who outsource jobs!

  • @zenbrenzz

unfortunately sadly obama is a coward for not standing up to the republiturds.I voted for obama and am very sad,I wish mccain was president because we would have a vetoproof majority.Yes we would because john mccain would be blamed.

I dont think I could vote coward obama again.

  • @MrTabby5000 I wish you had voted for McSame, too. This country doesnt deserve Pres Obama...everything he's tried to do has been like pulling teeth. I wish McSame would have won...the stress would have already killed him and we could be into WWIII with Pres Palin, and the US could have what it deserves. Nuclear winter.

  • @zenbrenzz

yes the reagan agenda would have destroyed this country.

  • @MrTabby5000 You have to vote for him again. Obama has accomplished an intense amount of things, and more to come.

Don't listen to the talking points on the right. Saving the auto industry saved 1,000,000 jobs, for example - you'll never hear a righty say that, although some are trying to take credit for it.

Repubs trashed us, and Obama is reviving us. Don't vote for someone who will drive us into the ditch again with handouts for the rich.

    OBAMA 2012!

  • @MrTabby5000 Please say you're kidding about Palin. She's not going to run, but if she did, are you telling me you'd vote for someone who can't name a Supreme Court case? Or a founding father? Or didn't know Africa was a continent? You'd vote for someone who quit her Gov job to get rich? Who throws barbs from her protected world and who can't handle a Katie Couric interview? Please tell me you're kidding.

  • @demmmmm1

FUCK OBAMA AND THE TWO PARTY SYSTEM

    VOTE RON PAUL 2012!

  • @jmjfanss No, thank you.

  • oh Grayson, please move to a more liberal district and run again, we need you in congress.
